Thank You for your video it really helped me to get back on track for my studying for the MCAT, I was starting to lose motivation but your video kind of put me back into the game. I have 2.5 months to study for it and now I'm going to try to do my best.
@bijanakhavan Yeah, the studying really helped me at least.
The MCAT is a test you'll never know you will be really 100% ready for.
So if you feel comfortable with all the sciences, and verbal then take it.
I think they are putting more emphasis now on verbal reasoning, and there are quite a few
hypothetical questions, that you have to be ready for. Unlike years ago, it was mainly memorizing formulas, which you have know too. But they want to see if you can think outside the box. Good Luck!
Awesome video, there are not enough videos about MCAT prep on YouTube, this was very encouraging, I can't just go take a test without studying! I too have to study my ass off, hope all these studying pay off in May!!! When I'm taking my MCAT!! I look up videos like this when I get frustrated with MCAT!!!
Ok, this is a late comment and you probably took your MCAT already but I wouldn't retake it if I had that score b/c it's amazing that you didn't take those classes. I would write a letter of intent to the medical schools explaining the conditions that you were in when you took your MCAT because it really is really awesome. Good luck!
@kwako21 haha thanks! Yeah, I decided not to retake it. Because, its about $230 to retake it, plus getting to the test site is a pain. It's better to take it once and do well. :)
@VlFlorival hey! I took the lsat almost 2 years ago, I just gave it a shot cuz I didn't really have any direction on to what I wanted to do in life. I took the MCAT more seriously and took it at the end of March, I take it again in August.
It's really a shame this is your last video =/ Your advice could really benefit some future doctors out there. Still, thank you so much for sharing your advice and experiences!
