I am becoming more involved in what is going on and I'm considering running for senator. I have written up an amendment to the US Constitution to repeal the 16th amendment and also send those Federal Reserve banker traitors to the galley to be hanged by the neck. (see Coinage Act of 1792 signed into law by Pres. Washington). I am also working to remove the fluoride from our water--it is a drug and it causes health issues. Pray that we can repeal this awful abomination of a law.
I want it repealed. The states can tax but not the federal government. The federal government must have a narrow focus and not abuse their taxing powers beyond what they were intended for. The VAT is an unconstitutional attack on the tenth amendment. Sales tax is the province of the states only.
Why do we need taxes to pay for government? They "work" don't they? What's so different about government that they cannot earn their own money. How are they rich? Why can is government allowed to enrich itself off the salaries of others? That's collectivism. Why do we work for government ?
@ToxicOdiousOne we are all taxed because we are employees of the state by the Maternity Act of 1921 which allowed a fictional entity or fictional corporation to be made in our names by filing a birth certificate with the state. The birth certificate is printed on security bond paper. These bonds are sold in money markets, meaning a bank controls our capital, service, and information.
No direct or graduated tax (our current income tax system) was legal prior to the 16th amendment, because it violated the original wording of Art. 1, Section 9 of the Constitution which this amendment changed allowing our current tax system.
So, pursuant to the original intent of life, liberty and property, a graduated income tax on CITIZENS was un-Constitutional prior to the presumed ratification of the
16th amendment?
Of course, It also depends on what specific Supreme Court ruling is referenced. 'Stanton V. Baltic Mining' is the one I cited.
At best, the court's differing rulings have 'strived' against original intent.
Even if the 16th amendment was ratified, it is still un-Constitutional on it's face.

The amendment may not have been legally passed BUT it is still on the books and can be repealed IF enough citizens demand it.
