CCP accepts public voices for societal changes, but do not tolerate voices on political reforms.
Still far from what democracy is, but it's slightly better than before. People outside of mainland rarely knows the truth inside the country, so everyone thinks it's hell-hole inside. But the matter of fact is, it isn't THAT bad as they think, or anymore. It's improved a lot, although far from acceptable. When I was referring to that statement of USSR, Russia, I was saying that when people outside are screaming at China, they meant to scream at CCP. However to the people from China, they thought you're screaming at them. This leads to more confusions. Either way, CCP is a transition, and while work on human rights and freedom should never cease, we need to be patient, because a good system can't happen overnight.
If China takes up democracy too early, it will be like India today. Instead China is trying to raise the most vital issues: food, economy, modernization, education, industrialization, social issues, etc, up to standards, before a complete change in the system. Gradual is slow, but maturing process. When everything's in place, it will be a nation where people are learned, mannered, cultured, and knows the meaning of the human rights that are handed to them, and endorsing it from its meaning.

Lastly, keep your eyes opened; I have a feeling China will bring in a new type of democracy unseen by the West. @AnimeDaimon Well if you want to get really technical, humans are a species. But anyway, if we're no different then I would ask that you consider not using divisive terms that cultivate bias and prompt kneejerk reactions. We each got an insult in on each other, it's fair enough.
After all, we agree that the "brrrdrrrdrrdrd" sound is annoying, might as well leave it at that. :)

@qinbete My research result:The official them song was "Waving Flag" sung by K'naan who kinda clone version of Bob Marley. But FIFA organizers rejected the content of the song "Waving Flag" claiming it has political message. Instead the FIFA asked Shakira to record a song for them, then Waka-Waka was written and it was approved by the organizers. So the Waving Flag by K'naan's ended up as the Coca-Cola official theme song for FIFA 2010 World Cup.

The sea creature apparently is right again by picking Germany as the winner in the third place match. Asian teams must do better in order to fight for more berths at the WC final. Now it only get three berths from how many countries, 50? Only strength can get more seats.
