Best music, best times ... everything just made sense during these days and everyone got on.

Nowadays it's all attitude with mugs screwing their faces up in music videos and showing off what Rolex or Bentley they've got.

I'd love to be able to go back to the good old days. Started secondary school in 84 when everything was new.  Computers were just becoming mainstream (the ST and Amiga!) and of course then the games consoles ... thumbs up if you had a SEGA Master System or NES!

Agreed, however I love every genre, but the 70s - disco sucks! They have new great bands in the 90s, and 2000 though, and great tunes. 3doors down, 3rd eye blind, candlebox, live, stained, just to name a slim few. I was forced to listen to my Mothers 50s, and 60s music growing up which I hated at first, however it gave me the ability to be eclectic. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, BigBopper, ect etc., The only type of music I hate is ;death metal', can't understand one word!

I spent my entire teen years in the '80's. I was 12 in 1980 and turned 20 in 1988. They were fun times, and interesting too. The cold war was still on the go at that time, but we could tell that Regan was pushing for the war ending.  The Wall came down in 1989 and I remember crying I was so happy. Oh...and the music was THE BEST!!
