I didn't care for this game at all. I bought it a few years back and I played it for about 4 hours and well...To be honest i really think this game sucks...allot.

Bought the pack a while ago and only getting round too it now. My god it's so boring. I'm about 6 hours in and I just don't think I can be bothered any more.

Came to see what kind of reviews it got and I can't believe this guy said it was "fun". It's so dull I can't stand it. I keep thinking there's a decent game buried in here somewhere but the lazy design and plodding pace is just killing it for me.

Ok, Idk why people are being such pussies about the controls. This game blends a third person rpg and a real time strategy. Think of it as a Fable version of pikman, only just focusing on he evil part. Posting minions and fighting bosses with strategies are completely organic designs you can create. Whether it be strategy with your minions, brute force of you or your spells, or a full on assault of minion and overlord wrath. If you don't know how to control the game, dont play it.

this game $%#%ing confused me when i got to the last boss, i was like "wait am i really good or is this just a thing were i do some thing good then take the evil persons place?" becuase it say 7 heros come then theirs really 8 to kill the origail over lord, then you trun out to be the 8th then you kill the wizard dude. THEN theirs like 8 dif endings that happen depending on your evil level. this game was confuseing but EPIC.

I also like some of the parodies on the real world: like in one of the first level (at overlord 2) you have to use your brown minions to club the tiny fluffy seals to death.

It's quite sad, but also alot of fun.

I liked it a lot. I'm a huge lotr fan and i loved how you got to be evil, but it was still funny and charming at the same time.

This game is meant to be funny, a satire of adventure, role playing and strategy games slapped together. Ever watched the Gremlins? The minions are pretty much modeled on them and they even act and speak like them.

nah. u should check it out. U can upgrade him, fit him with better armor and weapons as well as spells. Also u can upgrade the Dark Tower (yeah I know... cliche) to have better minions and a more beautiful place to spread terror. xD

the game is pretty neat, u should really check it out, lot of dark humor there too. ;)

You start off weak cause your a new overlord with hand me down armor, after all. The stuff used to make the good equipment was stolen and your tower upgrades affect you as well.

You can be semi good. The semi good is you dont really kill peasents and make your people happy. There is still evil in this cause you can kick them around, burn their houses, drink their beers. When you rob the houses of your loyal subjects, you get gold and equipment for your minions as well as at times potions.

yes. once u have completed quests and discovered territories you can always can back, for example to the village and pillage and steal and kill all over and over again. However in roaming modes the only things u can kill are villagers, critters (sheep, frogs etc), monsters don't respawn
