People this does not hurt the cat when it's on them, It's A reflex though to move away from the object pressing against them.

Though, It has A small chance of hurting the cat when taking it off, But not entirely. The cat's fur is oiled due to how they clean theirself. Causing the tapes structure and stucky side to weaken. The tape could of fallen off in a matter of hours.
