I placed my order on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 and it was delivered to me Friday, Nov. 5! My best friend purchased hers last year for over $500, and it was the old model. After I saw the results she got using the laser comb I knew it was time for me to make the investment. I only wish I bought it earlier. It’s a great product.

For god sake..looking at the before and after picture. On the before pic it shows that the hair is going a totally different pattern the After pic.. After pic look like he brush his hair and cover the bald spot..
It's very hard to tell, both the effectiveness of the laser according to others, and my rate of hair loss (receding hair line) are very slow. Sometimes I feel my hair feels a little stronger. Though I think I'm entering a shedding phase in my cycle, but supposedly the laser increases shedding at first. It's really hard to tell, but if I get any substantial change in my hair, good or bad, I'll get back to you. I am interested in helping people. Try the product, and if you don't like it sell it :)
This product is a damn scam!!. Take it from me, I have been using this god forsaking light saber since april 08, 3 x a week for 20min..and guess what...IM STILL BALDING...ARRGh!!. Dont believe me, ask about the returning policy.

i bought and used this. I was completly bald and after the second use i had hair down to my shoulders. I seriously woke up the second day and my hair grew that much!
You all wil probablly laugh, but I think it's the same laser used in laser pointers. The wave length is the same 660nM. The powerfull it's a bit more than most very compact low power laser pointers, since laser pointers is about 1 to 3 mW, and each spot of the Hairmax is about 5mW. What about put 120 laser pointer direct in your head? :-)
I enjoyed watching Matt Lauer trying to swipe the lasers we sent to NBC. Unfortunately, you've edited out the parts of the video where they mention exactly what treatments those patients used. Each of those patients had hair transplantation performed in addition to using other therapies. For the full video, see "NBC TODAY--Battling Baldness"
as well as propecia and harder stuff, the "big boost" will be folicle multiplication from stem cell research but when that will be a practice ready for the public could be anywhere from next year to who knows when
lasercombs are interesting, but as a primary tool against baldness, more likely as a complement.
Be sure to look into the wide range of lasers before you choose, there are more options then just the hairmax such as Aculas and Amazinglasercomb. Good luck.

This product is more likely to work on people who are balding through age. But who knows. I'm using it, I'll post back soon with any results :)

go to Ebay and type in laser comb and get a laser max they are made from the same lasers that the lasers in the clinics are and it is a lot cheaper.
