I remember the Bradford Monk when I was at Wellington Primary School, Eccleshill and I left there in 1972. He doesn't seem to have aged much over the years. We all called him the 'Mad Monk' then.

I saw him a few montsha go in Brighouse, I used to see him in Bradford in the 1960's. Is he a real monk/friar?

Saw him 3 weeks ago top of Saltaire Rd, I'm 55 and he's been walking since I was a child! Top guy,Legend, And someone we should be proud of here in Blankford! Looks like he's still got miles left in the tank, No carbon footprint with this dude! A winner, A true Star!

my mum uster work with that german anna in john street market she wasnt mad, she was a german prisonener when she was little and they did horrible things to her thats why she looked so stange.back to jesus man my dads 60! n ses he was walking around the same when he was younge its just so strange.jesus man lives forever! lol

He has been wandering round Bradford for at least 35 yrs to my knowledge, can't believe he is still going. Anyone remember German Anna who used to wander round John St Market?

he lives nextdoor to someone i know, he lives with another guy in baildon, he walks from there everyday
