i play with this raquet but have demo and owned many raquets before it. I think this is the best frame wilson has produced and is definitly among the top 3 best (if you are good enough to use it). I've also tried the new blx blade, and it isn't much better, I would even say it's a little worse.
@m3geoisawesome yes you have to return it by mail it comes with all the information you juct put them in the box they came in and put the sticker on the box that came with them and drop it of at the nearest ups store
I have played through 3 lines of head racquets and from my personal experience, the flexpoint technology was not all that apparent. For example, I play with the prestige mid. The flexpoint had very subtle changes from the liquidmetal ones. The microgel on the other hand feels more solid. The flexpoint may do what it is said to do, but not so much that it makes a difference in the feel because the prestige is such a solid frame.
Why am I hitting inside out? Because of where the camera is positioned. Hitting inside out lets you see how the ball travels off my strings better because the ball doesn't cross in front of my body (which would block your view of the ball).
Can't you write a sentence? Ever heard of proof reading? It's a sentence doesn't take long to look back at what you wrote. It doesn't make any sense, if If I was trying to decipher it, "why are you hitting inside out?" Why not is hitting inside out a mistake? Yes, it's a cardinal sin to hit inside out that's why no pros do it (insert sarcasm)
K Blade Tour is a pretty solid racquet. Feels better with Lead tape at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Kind of like Wilson's answer to the Head Prestige Mid, but not quite as soft feeling. I prefer playing with the K90 Federer or the K88 Sampras, but this is decent for feeding balls and easy hitting for advanced players.
You are mistaken, it is in fact the opposite. This is why you tend to string rackets on a higher tension when you want control, and lower tension when you want more power.Common enough mistake, i hope this will help you.
Margin for error and Control are two different things. Lower tension does indeed mean more spin, but it does not mean necessarily, more control. You could hit all the spin in the world and if you don't control the depth and placement it would not do you any good.
just do whatever feels right, you don't want a heavy racket because you have to play with it after the serve goes in and it will mess up your forehands and backhands.. just stick to what is comfortable for the racket..
might be a bit old but i am a reasonable player i am coming 15 years old and a 7.2 lta rating i am a hard hitter what racket would you recommend
thanks

wasn't it hard to hit with that leather grip?
shotyboy 1 year ago
@shotyboy i hated the leather grip. it was hard and the racquet twisted in my hand. personal preference though.

@jaysonordan
you don't need to use the link to demo the racquet for free. Tennis Express' demo program is free for ALL racquets BUT, you have to pay for shipping.

im a bit confused...why is it tht when the frame bends you get less control, so why did head have the flex point which bends alot more

@djrighthand That bent at a specific location. Not a random bending off the racket. Its diffrent.

I'm playing the racket in the indoor season and on surfaces like grass and carpet and I see two sides of the racket.
I love the control it gives me, especially the flat forehand and the backhand slice. Moving in with the forehand is also very comfortable.
So for me it"s perfect for all aggressive surfaces where i'm quickly going into action.
I don't like to play it on clay and on hardcourt because in my opinion it doesnt have the solid power for deep and high groundstroke rallies.

Will why are you waiting the ball inside the court. Isn't this a mistake? Thx.

Hopefully they can do a Yonex review :D

Lower tension = more spin.
More spin can lead to more control because if you hit with topspin then more spin will pull the ball into the court.
