Wicked setup! I know I would be too old for this kind of gear. I want to process my ideas (get the original idea sequenced as quickly as possible) these days, instead of tweaking all kinds of modules. Time is too limited for all the fun that would be possible.
why is it so important that everything sychs up, always? i like when it's all a huge unruly mess, and sometimes it synchs, and sometimes it doesn't, cos that's where you get new soundsulptures!
I can't remember. But I think it was 29.97, aka NTSC drop frame. But if I'm thinking correctly, if your audio is ahead of picture after a few minutes, you should use 30 fps (if you're loosing sync with 29.97). And if you're in 30 fps and your audio starts to lag behind picture, it should be 29.97 to correct it. But I could be wrong, I work in frames, not timecode at work.
Very cool...I've been messing with an electro-harmonix studio poly-flange pedal with a guitar, for decades. Yeah, i'm old. But i've been creating the same kinds of feedback and beats and noize , although on a smaller scale. It's fun to see this stuff. thanks.
I almost wish I had 2 or 3 of them to chain them together and see if control is possible...or maybe that would be so much chaos it would cycle back around to normalcy.
I love this thing, I used to love getting feedback on my guitar, and now I can get feedback w/o destroying my ears or relationships with neighbors.
Wow! Very impressive - the contant beat in the background was created via the Jomox Mbase, right? Or did I get it wrong here? The repetitive pounding really threw me back - amazing!
It's triggered by the LFO1 on the Filtered Coffee. It stopped working this weekend in the middle of getting ready to video tape it. Hopefully I can get it replaced soon. I miss it already.
The Jomox is what triggers the TResonator (when it's on) with a good swift kick in the ass, and it cries back! :)
Killer! Its scary how there are quite a few of us out there who actually understand and appreciate this madness! Was that a Line 6 Filter Pro in your rig? I used to have one but had problems getting it to sync to anything. Can the tempo of the Murph be synced by a CV pulse?
I got the FilterPro while building the Paia. I had trouble with the VCF, got the line6 as a band aid fix. The ModPro just doesn't go the extremes that real filters do. I'll get back to it once I start integrating Max/MSP control and sound. hopefully, I can get MIDI and CV talking. The MuRF was synced by a foot pedal into the MuRF tap/step control. I haven't gotten the LFO in the MuRF to sync direct, it sorta sounds synced with an env or LFO.
I'm glad you liked it, I definately like your videos.

Hey Don,
Which is the correct frame-rate then? 30 or 29.97? Thanks!
