  • You really know how to write a great tune. Your videos are always fantastic, can't wait to hear a new one.

  • Another beauty, keep them coming, 5 stars again.

  • Nice guitar work! I really enjoy the combination of finger picking and flat picking you do here! Great job! I'll have to try that sometime. Five stars from me! :-) -Derek

  • Thanks - it is actually all fingerpicking in the single string parts, thumb and index finger.

  • Your compositions are amazing ! I like your style a lot. Have you been playing guitar for a long time ? Could you tell me about some guitarists that play this style ? I would like to learn to play in this style.

  • Great playing! You play very well ! By the way, is your guitar a Martin D-45 ? And where can I find the partition of the song you play ?

  • I wish it was a Martin D-45.I would love one. It is a Tanglewood TW1000 which, as mid range guitars go, is really very good. The tune is an original so no tab sorry.

  • There is an obvious Bluegrass feeling in your style, blended with early rural blues. Very pleasant to the ear, lively, fresh, and strong.

  • Thanks for the comment Greg - I have a few other tunes to record yet. Just put another one on in DADGAD - again using the tuning for the sort of bluesy music not normally associated with this.

  • I like the ring in those strings! You've got it flowing and infectious - not bad for your first shot on the cam. That's funny, I made the same conclusion to update soon and remove glad you kept!

  • thats sounds like some great old-timey blues the way its suppossed to sound! great job!

  • Great stuff, some of this reminds me of Tony Rice's playing, give us more...

  • Thanks for the comment. I know what you mean about Tony Rice. It is probably because I use thumb and finger single string runs using hammer ons starting low on the bass to create a rolling effect. He uses a plectrum only of course. Great player too. His Muleskinner Blues intro is amazing.

  • Great guitar playin' man. Keep em comin'

  • Wow! Now that was blues! Amazing.
