So talented. Loved it back in the early 90's down at Belle River Fiddle Contest (Essex?). We used to have a great time in the fiddle park. Of course some times it would team rain all night, but that wouldn't stop anyone. This one time I recall one or two of the Leahy girls hanging out with my brother Thomas Wade, meanwhile at 6am, when the jam session was just getting finished (lol) it rained and stormed so bad our tent was blown down. She and Thomas came over and helped scoop up our tent! :)
i saw leahy in victoria in '97 in a basement bar and they were phenomenal... but not well known at the time... i was pleasantly surprised to find their CD a few years later (2003) at a blackmarket in moscow - quite an accomplishment for a canadian band!
Natalie is such a great fiddler,a down to earth Cape Bretoner and with the Leahys a wonderful exhibit of Celtic music. Thanks for posting.

Had to blame it on the piano...no violas were present! LOL! Before I get the emails, I really do like violas.

Nothing better than hearing a well porportioned reel!
There's nothing worse than when a fiddler plays a reel too fast. This is great!

I saw Leahy perform at Milwaukee's Irish Fest in 2004 or 2005, I can't remember. They are simply amazing.
