Really I hate how Eric gets treated during the last seasons of this show. He's a great guy. It's like no one cares what they say to him as if he has no feelings. I think Eric was the most overlooked character in this show, always playing comic-relief.

Not only that, Eric used to be a regular guy in the earlier seasons, the suave womanizer, but the producers of the show decided that they needed a dim-witted funny guy, and unfortunately, Eric suffered that fate. Nevertheless, Eric is still and will always be one of the greatest TV characters ever. Will should have been nominated for an Emmy for this role.

In this original cut Eric says

Gr8 episode. However I don't get why they decided to make Eric an idiot, he was fine the way he was in S2, and should have grown naturally from that point.
