Raptor 700 with Go Pro action camera

@Ballersonabudget The steering stabilizer helps a lot with the handling when you hit bumps, it also reduces the fatigue on you when riding in rough areas. It takes the jerking from the handle bars away when you hit bumps. I consider it one of the cheaper and better ways to improve handling if you ride in some rough areas at times. A steering stabilizer is one of the first mods I will do to a quad, well worth the money.

Your suspension set up is awsome, what exactly did you go with? A-arms and everything..and if you don't mind about how much did you pay for it after the install.

@Ballersonabudget I replaced the whole front end, +2 a-arms from Alba Racing, steering stabilizer, Elka triple rate shocks, and steel braided brake lines. I purchased it about 2 1/2 yrs ago for about $1,200, I did the install myself.

@Onscherpschutter It is a single cylinder, I am not too sure on the RPMs, I am thinking it maxes out around 8000rpm. I could be wrong, but not by far.

@mdcluff i have a stock 05ds650x and it hits the rev limiter at 7800rpm (comes with an autometer tach) but most people will put an after market cdi which will give them an extra 1000rpm...im sure the raptor wouldn't be much different.

@unboundnrg Yes, you can ride with out any restrictions. The dunes are not as good as Glamis, but it is still good trail riding. We are normaly the only ones there.

Most of the time I use the flat black piece that come with the box and duct tape it to the grab bar and nerfs. It is quicker to move around.

I guess that depends on what kind of riding you like to do, I like duning and trial riding with a smooth ride so I went with the 700. The 450 has a stiffer ride but is better for mx riding, they are both fast and reliable in my opinion.

Dont even waste yor money on ITP's ther nothing but shit...Get skat trak haulers for drag which are the BEST.And get SKAT TRAK EDGE's for drag and duneing which is wat i run.If you just want to dune all damn day get the ITP's.But if you want sumthing that is the BEST for all around get the edges.Plus they can compete wit haulers for drag tires and r really good for duneing.I spent 260 for mine on ebay brand new but they go for 300 to 320 anywher else.But dont wate yor money on ITPs

Yes I had ITP sand stars on at the time, they do ok for trail riding and tuning is fine. If you are drag racing I would get somthing like the skat trak hualers, I have some of those now and they hook up better.

I run the sand stars for trail riding and the haulers when I want to drag or hill climb. I like them both, but if you are going to do a lot of drags, I would go with the haulers.

Yes the camera is mounted on the front fender using the square plate mount that comes with the camera. I use the square mount the most and duct tape it, its cheaper than using a ton of 3-M tape.

I have been looking at getting the go pro for a while now but I have some questions. How do you put the mounts on? Are they permenant? In other words can I place the mounts wherever by just easily removing them?

They have camera mounts that have suction cups, handlebar mounts and mounts that use double sided tape that can be moved and reused with more tape. Look on their web site and you can see all of the mounts.
