He needs to take a dribble with the left hand or not take that little hop because when you hop like that you have to jump stop and land with both feet at the same time. Look at Wade or Ginobili, the guys who do the euro step correctly. I guess FIBA doesn't call shit like that, so Rubio gets away with it on a regular basis.

its very good if you are a left hander you have to EXTRA exagerrate your left step and then quick step to your right where you take off on ur right foot and layup with your left hand on the right side of the basket

Yea, I've done something like the Eurostep, but like you said you're going to the left side of the basket while jumping off the left leg. I only do the "euro step" when driving down the middle, but I do like a 180 off my left foot to do a right hand reverse lapyup on the left side.

@bcgreen20 i'll try. euro step is allowed in the nba. however you got to be carefull after looking to court you want to go inside. if you make a jump stop and then continue this move it's a travel. what manu does is not a euro step is more a up n under move that is most used by centers only he uses it on the forward spot to creat a jump shot
