if I use polish with the brush, then I clean it with acetone, and if I use acrylic paint then I use water :) but I always clean my brushes immediately after I use them, otherwise they get ruined fast :)

Hi :) the last nail vid that I uploaded might be perfect, (it is called black and white for amandarae4191's contest)... but in general I would suggest doing simple nails (2 max 3 colors on the nails), you can make vertical lines, or slanted french manicure because it makes the nails look longer. Me personally I wouldn't put too dark on short nails, but I also wouldn't put white (I mean on the whole nail as a base color), when my nails are really short I just put a clear nail polish,

and then I make little flowers on it, or I put a light pink base color, and on that I draw something really simple (flower or a line and along the line dots maybe)...anyways if it is too much polish, or too many colors it won't look good :)

I get my nail polishes with the fine tip from beauty supply stores. my glitters and brushes, and acrylic paints from craft stores :)

the brand is Coral Nail art, but it's not good, better you get a purple glitter and clear nail polish, 'cause I had to put a lot to look like this,

I cleaned the brush with nail polish remover between the black and white :)

it is a paint brush nr 2/0, RoArt is the name, and it is made locally so I don't think you can find it in the US. I find it easier to paint with this brush when it is about details, or if my hands are shaky... but if I have to draw lines it is easier with the striper brush or fine tipped nail polish
