Hey guys check out "chemtrails", there's some stuff going on you need to know about. Good documentaries "Dont talk about the weather" and "Endgame HQ". Check my vids. Tell others. We can fix this if we work together.
This song's lyrics don't seem to have anything at all to do with Christianity. They're about a young girl coming of age and looking for a boy. The message seems to be that she shouldn't "give it up" before the time is right.
It's about how his sister got caught up in a Christian Church where she got assraped by the fucking Priest and he had to save her by driving up with a big muscle car, shooting the sick fuck Priest in the balls and then "motorin" away
Who the F is Sister Christian? And motorin'? What the hell is this song about? And don't say the drummer's sister. Because that's even more confusing and probably immoral.
Some people claim this song is about something like motorin or someting. But it is clearly him singing about her motownman. She must have been bangin a brother and he was not happy about it.
This didn't come out when I was 10 or 2 or 5 and I'm not listening to it for the first time. This came out when I was 17 and I remember listening to it at my prom. Experiencing it at 17 and listening to it running around chasing girls and trying to act cool was awesome!

Dude, I was comeing home from a halloween party slamed, with some friends in the back who were fuckedup too, and this song poped up and we all started singing it together that shit was hilarious lmao.
Wow that piano player is sure rocking out in the choruses...and could you add a little more bass to the snare? It isn't sounding enough like a tom. Thanks. No really.
One of the greatest rock ballads ever from the 80s or any other time period. Boogie Nights didn't ruin it, I thought it was a great contrast to the action and drama being played out while the song was playing..
apparently a lot of people think like that. I was born in the early 70s and i wish i could remember the 60s and early 70s.
It could be that people aren't confident as to what the future holds. I can't say i'd blame anyone for being worried about the future - whether you're talking about music, or life in general. LOL
I was living in Australia at the time and remember this song making a dent in mainstream. You're right, time flies and the memories move even faster...keep the flame burning.
thanks for the heads up. I shall not watch that movie. I hate it when movies or remakes, or anything else ruins a song. I'm not saying this song is a timeless classic or anything, but i don't need it ruined. lol
Then you're making the right decision. The scene in 'Boogie Nights' is very bizarre and every part of it sticks with you, especially this song. It's a part of the movie based loosely on Eddie Nash and the Wonderland Murders.
'Boogie Nights' is an excellent film, however, and I highly recommend it. You could always mute the movie when you hear the song and then un-mute once it's over.
wow the sad part is that i can actually picture that what the fuck has music turnedinto? why cant we go bacl to the good old days 70sand 80s s where its at!

WHAM ..Is the GREATEST BAND EVER. Why dont all of you sheep turn this garbage off and turn to WHAM .. The GREATEST Band ever ! Now go do as your told !
Song was originally "Sister Christy". The drummer Kelly Keagy wrote it about his sister, whom his parents were having a hard time accepting she was growing up and moving off to college. The rest of the band always thought he was singing 'sister christian' when he was in fact singing 'sister christy'. They changed it to Christian because is flowed better. Jack Blades tells this story in a 2001 interview.
Sister Christian was written and sung by the band's drummer, Kelly Keagy, for his sister, Christy. The lyrics were confused with "christian" for "Christy, so they stuck. Kelly wrote the song about how fast his sister grew up, who was 10 years younger then him at the time.
