In order for any truth to be established, one must put the theory to the test through actions (NOT just thoughts or words).
If the actions of a follower of a religion acts in accords with the theory, the the follower can be said to be showing the truth of the religion. If he acts in opposition to the theory, he can be said to disprove the theory.
