    I think any weight loss plan should not deprive you of anything or else its not going to work. It's just going to be a temporary fix... weightloss journeys are lifestyle changes! Its about proportions and some type of activity. I'm a mom so I know how hard it is to lose that baby fat but it is possible!!!! :) All you ladies who are trying to lose weight and keep it off check out my channel

  • You should eat more calories for breakfast because you burn all those calories during the day. Dinner calories just sit there since you sleep and should eat less during this time.

  • Agreed. Be careful, you don't want your body going into starvation mode. This was best described in Azrael's weight loss book 'Odysi Zero'. Starvation mode is crazy, it will really hurt you so again, please be careful.

  • Congrats on the weight loss girl! Before I got pregnant I loved myfitnesspal. I especially like the android app so I can add my food when i'm at work or on the go. I can't wait for this baby to come in January so I can get back to weight loss, i'm already up 20 lbs at almost 6 months. :(

  • Well I guess joining the 17 day diet to do it with you was crazy... I didn't know if you would stay on it then I just went out bought the book because its more fun to do it with you but well whatever.

    Well it'd been nice watching you but your videos aren't for me plus....you never answer my questions so really you aren't as loyal to your subbies as we are for you. And dont get me wrong.. the questions were ask a loooong while back. So I have been patient. Good luck and take care.

  • I got my fitnesspal acct after you brought it up. It's the best little tool I've ever used.I've lost 9 lbs during cycle 1 of the 17 Day Diet.Like you, I am not so strict on myself.I've had tacos here, chocolate there & lost the weight.I think it's very important not to deprive yourself from your favorite foods in order to be successful.During the wk, I normally stay under my recommended cals. also and during the wkends about what is recommended.Good Luck & can't wait to see your next update :)

  • I've been tracking on myfitnesspal as well and it makes it so easy. I find that I can't wait to log on and input everything! The only problem is I have had to MAKE myself eat snacks to meet my calories for the day...drinking so much water fills me up so much I forget my snacks. I weigh in on Wednesdays =)

  • I think the calories should be backwards. The largest calories should be at breakfast because you are more active in the day. At night you don't need to burn off as much because there is less to do.

  • i know this may sound corny but my brother in law lost 109 pounds doing the billy blanks tae bo series! he lost just as much as my sister (his wife0 weighs!) now that i finally gave birth to my son I will give it a shot....also i should add that he ate anything he wanted just in smaller portions...oh and it took him a 1yr. and three months to lose all that weight

  • I dont think your setting a good example...u start stuff then u dont finish it.or u "fell off" thats not fair to other ppl who r serious about following a plan and decide to follow u.

  • @1leealex well for the most part I think that happens with a lot of people but as long as you stick with it in the end. You fall down you get back up. Noone is perfect.

  • @1leealex if people want to lose weight they should do it for themselves! she's not responsible for others falling off.....she's just sharing her journey...if people dont get that or use that for an excuse then they really dont have the motivation to lose weight!

  • My dad was obesse and he realy needed to loose weight counting calories wasnt working fast enough for him so his doctor recommended watching his sodium intake in 5months he lost 80 pounds!  , i reommend watching your sodium intake you will notice a HUGE difference :)

  • I also fell off the wagon on the 17 day diet! I got tired of eating such low carbs, its really hard for me. Ive been a bad girl lately so Im back on track on tuesday=) Ive still lost 4 lbs from my first week on the 17 day diet, I also would reccommend the 17 day diet cause it did get me started but I just had a rough week so I need to get back on track

  • I have a tip! Eat a bigger lunch than dinner so that your body has the rest of the day to burn off the most calories

    Mashed Cauliflower

    Little water in pan and bouillon cube-simmer

    Add 1 teaspoon Dried chives and 1c Parma. Cheese and

    Garlic salt 1/2 teaspoon

    Steamed cauliflower 20 plus minutes on low and cover

  • Way to go! Congrats. Theres another site called Loseit.com, its pretty much the same as fitnesspal. On another note theres this workout from Tony Horton called the 10 minute trainer, there are like 5 workouts that take 10 mins and you can put two together and you really feel it and see results fast, the best thing is that it can take from 10-20 mins.

  • just becareful with eating so little, you can send your body into starvation mode if you eat less that 1200 calories.

  • @TMbeautyx for an avg woman in 20's/30's. health, weight, metabolism, age, height, activity level, etc, all play a part in how many calories a person needs to even maintain

  • @TMbeautyx im 6,2 and weighed 260 lbs... i only eat 900 calories a day on the slimfast plan.. some people can go low cals without going into starvation other cant.

    ive lost 50 lbs on this diet with tons of exercise though

  • @TMbeautyx Just so you know, there is no such thing as "Starvation Mode". Seriously. Research it. It's just a myth.

  • @TTCwithPCOS actually I'm an Exercise PHysiology major and what that term means is that your bodies metabolism plummets and your body stores fat, because it does not know when its going to eat next therefore you will not drop weight. You have to eat 5-6 small meals a day around 250-300 calories at 3-4 hrs apart your biggest meal being in the morning! Just some info on where that comes from

  • @TMbeautyx Not true. Eating a minimum of five times each day will prevent your body from hoarding everything you do eat. Many celebrities eat close to or less than 1,000 calories a day.

  • If you are unfamiliar with HIIT and don't want to spend the money for P90X... just check out BodyRock.tv ... you can do everything at home.

  • If you are so determined to do it the next day... why don't you just do it today? Buy a jump rope, or do HIIT for 10 minutes. Motivate yourself!

  • i agree when they say women should consume like 1900 calories i don't agree i think it should be based on your height because I'm 5ft5 and to consume that many calories is way too much i consume 1200 day
