Oftentimes you see the killer in the beginning of the episode and follow them in intermissions throughout the episode, which provides insight into their psychological state. @absence14 I don't actually know what it means but I always though that the 'ill' was a replacement for 'lull' in 'lullaby'. Lull is peaceful and kind of means sleep. Ill means sick. Thus illabye. :) Probably not right, that's just me.

@Kaeresh I wouldn't say it makes you a masochist, but this song does put you on the edge of relaxation but also sort of anxiety about what might come next in the song or your surroundings. Its beautiful though in the way it lulls you and twists around a lullaby. I think its in perfect balance.

There is a certain crime show my mother and brother got me into, where I cheer for the profilers, worry for the victims, and shake my head at the number of sick people. All of the episodes are fairly creepy, but I just saw "Mosley Lane" last week and for me it was a whole new level of disturbing... especially the part when they played this song. Now I want the CD.
