Ms is kind of like the opposite of aids. Aids is caused by a virus and it affects a group of T-cells, the suppressor T-cells. This shuts down the immune system. In MS I believe is also caused by a virus and it affects of group of T-cells, called the Killer T-cells. People with MS have a overactive immune system. How do Docs treat MS? By shutting down the immune system. Weird when you think about it.
