I think they spent a longer time saying the camping segment is coming up; Later on the show, After the next commercial, After this segment, ect... Than they actually spent on the segment itself...

Harry has common sense tell those other segments to shove off for the important ones :)

Not that any of that gear other than the the double burner and the last tent setup with gear was useful to actual camping >.>

There is a difference between camping and spending the night outdoors. Also camping is relative; but I believe most of these items are unnessasary. They will add extra weight and take up space that could be used for emergency items, extra layers, rain gear, etc.
