WHY did you have him shaved at the vet? Shouldn't you have realized that he would... LOOK shaved? I mean, if you want the haircut done right, bring it to a professional groomer.

How is a shavedown supposed to look "good"? Maybe if you clarified it a little bit better, as in saying "I want a very tight trim up" or "I want him left a half inch to an inch" then something else could have been done. A shavedown is a shavedown, and that's how any groomer sees it, but they definately should have asked how short, and you should have specified if you wanted anything different. Lol, as you can tell, I'm a groomer, if someone complained about a shavedown, ya simply didn't specify!

Thanks for your comment. Some friends of mine also though there was nothin wrong with the haricut. I just thought it was too low, making the poor canine look like a whole other creature. However, its been several months since and its hair has since grown back. Simba looks like a dog again.

He's adorable...the kitty too!!! I am an animal lover. I have a pekingese and a kitty just like yours. I had my pupper shaved once and I felt so bad about it but it grew on me. He was still the happy go lucky trooper he always was.
