  • Well theres one good thing about Haiti, everyone got a job.

  • Is this Haiti.OMG is this place for real,i must go to this country for a holiday,it looks like hell on earth.GREAT

  • Calling doctor shipman.

  • well done to the doctor. Disgusting conditions.

  • can you all believe our prisoners here bitch and whine about the conditions THEY are in??? Instead of solitary for punishment, send them here for a week! No more rules would ever be broken in an american prison after that i promise you!

  • So rare to find someone like this who really cares! imagine if every human on Earth was like him! We'd live in paradise! What a wonderful World this would be!

  • this guy is awesome

  • Soap means alot and no plumbing thats sad

  • Criminal or otherwise. No one should have to live in these conditions. They are still human beings! I am not a liberal by any stretch of the imagination, but this is outrageous! How can anyone approve of this type of prison is beyond my comprehension. And those of you that believe this is ok. All I can say is I am so glad you are not my neighbor. I would fear you.

  • More prisons should be like this...It will at least act as a deterrent in more civilised countries.

  • @MrMantura Don't be stupid. It's not a deterent for s start, and no human being should be treated like this whatever they have done. On top of this, diseases are incubated and let out into the community-so everybody loses. Prison should be to rehabilitate-yes, punish aswell, but that's just the time and loss of freedom. The rest of prison should be making the person better for society.

  • Thank you for educating the world. Thank you for caring and giving your time.

    God Bless You

  • These inmates are treated worst that animals. It's disgusting.

  • If the criminal scum that infests the US had this kind of prison to look forward to I suspect that their career choice of crime would look a lot less attractive and recidivism would most likely disappear.

I would shut down the prisons in the US and have US convicts serve out their time in Haitian prisons .... and provide the Haitiens the funds to handle that (I reckon $5/prisoner/day would cover it nicely.

If this was done crime in the US would decrease by at least 90%.

  • @jacksbark Amen!!

  • @kryptonitex2 Amen? That ain't very Christian of you

  • But what happnes when their sentences are up and they have to go back into society carrying drug resistant diseases?

  • What do you mean 'go back into society'? This is a one way trip .... no coming back .... that's the entire point. GET RID OF THIS CRIMINAL PARASITIC SCUM - PERIOD. If they ever get released it will be into Haiti as a new Haitian citizen with no right to come to the US.

  • So your saying that America should outsource it's problems as well. A novel idea to be sure. If you're talking about "Getting rid of parasitic scum" then why not just advocate the death penalty for all crimes, whether it be stealing a stick of chewing gum or murder.

  • What I'm saying is creating a workable, practical solution to the criminal problem that the US has so far been inept and ineffective at solving. Death penalty? Sure, where earned. But, I'd be happy to see an end to the death penalty in the US if the suggestion I have made were adopted as the alternative. And, no, stealing a stick of gum would not 'qualify' for a one-way trip to Club Haiti. What's needed is an actual workable solution to dealing firmly and finally with the criminal scum.

  • @jacksbark Mmmm....gum!

  • @jacksbark Most Haitian prisoners haven't had trial. So maybe you should educate yourself before making such ugly proclamations.

  • everyone criticizing him are not doing anything to make a difference. wat i see is a man who could go to hawaii on his free time and buy martinis but he chooses to go to haiti and buy soap for people that few think about!!

  • @mswawa2u No shit. Good comments. The guy is a hero by any definition. I wish I could do the same.

  • I know Dr. May. He is a truly compassionate and caring man. He genuinely cares what happens to these individuals.

  • Have you researched the ingredients in the H1N1 vaccine? Do you REALLY believe there is a flu out there killing people? Look it up. Formaldehyde? Mercury? That vaccine is a slow death for all of us. Right now it's on a voluntary basis...Martial law will soon be the law of the land it will be enforced. Remember the Patriotic Act? We no longer have rights- just remember that when you want to defend criminals who pretend they care.

  • As far as I'm concerned, I love everyone-even my enemies but I'm not blind. I know what they are doing. I stopped watching TV and began to research everything and read the Bible. I pray for peace in the world and help people when I can....but right now, the world is running amok with the Devil in control. I'm getting my life right with God and Jesus Christ- because they can kill this flesh but my soul will be saved.

  • I hope everyone will open their eyes, do the research- (YouTube and the internet is there), and find peace with God and Jesus Christ. Daniel 12v4. We have information at our fingertips!

  • If no one believes that there is a real war going on between God and the devil, they are in for a rude awakening! The microchip is the mark of the beast and the devil is trying to take as many souls as he can to hell...Look it up- see how many of your favorite musicians/rap artist have sold their souls to the devil for rich and fame...If we are still alive to see it, we will see who the Anti-Christ is and there will be a real war in Jerusalem (Read Matthew 24 and the book of Revelations)

  • Im not sure which disease your speaking of in regards to WW2 but your statement is absolutely rediculous. The point of this video was not go make the white doctor a savior it was to open peoples eyes to the conditions the people in the prison are forced to live by. And if you are so sure the americans are "experimenting" can you back that up by any kind of proof? anything at all? no? didnt think so...

  • @DJDanzzEdit You are so naive, don't you know the word of the century is POPULATION CONTROL? Haiti was never this way 20 years ago...the country was pretty much self sufficient until USAID and other "international aid" came down there and undersold the local farmers and merchants with poor quality food, opened up clinics, and all of a sudden, the country is riddled with diseases...

  • @phenomenalwomyn 20 years ago there were grave acts of human rights violations going on. I wouldn't say the country was "self sufficient." With a government that was murdering the opposition, stealing children off the street and forcing them into the military and stealing massive amounts of money that could have been used to create jobs or universal education.

  • of course, scabies and tb are rampant in haiti anyhow; regardless of whether or not they are in prison.

  • o man this is one bad place, makes San Quinton look like a cake walk.

  • Despite the fact that these American Doctors may or may not be exploiting the people, in the case of Dokte Paul Farmer anyway, has saved thousands of Haitian's lives who would otherwise die without dignity. There are good white people in the world, hate to break it to you.

  • @anemolove Yes these humanitarians are truly good people. However you can't simply praise the few white "saviors" without denouncing the reason why Haiti is such a mess is because of exploitative white nations like the USA and France.

  • @PixelDansIronFist

I don't think most white people or humanitarians are "white saviors." I don't think most humanitarians are helping Haiti at all. I honestly think most are hurting the nations because they're started by ignorant people who know nothing about development and have good intentions but detrimental ideas. However; you can't judge all white people on what a few 1000 assholes in government do. Those 1000 people aren't really representative of the whole.

  • @anemolove If ur talking about Christian missionaries, yes they are ignorant and have some nefarious intentions along with the good ones, but they are good people. I've worked with some.

White/Western responsibility extends much further than a few thousand in gov't. Most Westerners benefit from southern slave labor and are thus guilty. Just cuz they can't see their dirty hands, doesn't men the filth of guilt is not there.

  • God bless this man for helping these inmates. He is surely compassionate

  • @ReginaYvette i agree with you! This is appalling! My God! I can't believe a place like this exists in the 21st century!

  • @guionlawes There exists much worse places in Haiti and elsewhere, but most comfortable people don't want to know about it.

  • God bless you.... I know how shitty that pen is and trust me, they need every possible bit of help. Btw, they get those big feet because they don't have enough room to all lay. Standing for entire nights gives it to them, beri beri as they called it.

  • May God Bless this man for going and helping people that are in need. May you be abundantly bless in your personal life.

  • Don't be quick to think u know about Haiti. Best think is to learn about a nation before adding your two cents. I am gravely offended by people who think they know what ails Haiti.

  • Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the work in this prison.

When I see the exitment of one bar of soap, I wonder again how we can justify our first world life style. I don't think we can.

  • i never new about this happened thnx for posting it made me think.

  • @royalketchup Even worse things than this exist in Haiti, but the media doesn't show it.

  • @PixelDansIronFist

I think the Media does a fine job at plastering Haiti with horror stories and negative images. The truth is they never show the good side of Haiti, the real Haiti.

  • @anemolove I know what u mean about the Western media not showing the positive, but they also hide the crimes of this gov't as well. Probably for the same reasons to control their neo-colonialist view of Haiti. Try finding coverage on the Lacaille prison massacre and you'll see what I mean.
