No, What I meant was certain abortions shouldn't be allowed but ofcourse it depends on the situation. The fact is most abortions don't happen because somebody raped you. I heard, in America only 10% of pregnancys result from rape. If the person was raped or if the baby could kill the person then thats different. I'm talking about someone who just doesn't want it. I personally, don't think it's fair.
The difference is you had no choice in the matter, while sleeping with a guy and then it was caused- it would be your fault. Being raped is different because you didn't even want to sleep with the guy - there was no choice.

Adoption basically just results in the child growing up in an orphanage because it's easier and cheaper to adopt foreign babies than in our own country. Well that was like listening to every single poorly thought-out, emotion-based pro-abortion argument I've ever heard, all at once. Guess what, I'm a woman and I'm still against abortion. People are alive and human before birth...it's a scientific fact. On that basis alone I am against abortion. And yes, I have kids - I know what it's like to be pregnant, to struggle with it, to have problems, and to raise kids on a small income. Been there, done that. Adoption basically just results in the child growing up in an orphanage because it's easier and cheaper to adopt foreign babies than in our own country. Social workers to help out, or welfare or WIC is useless. WIC decides what your child eats and if the child won't eat whatever they say it can, well then oh well, you're SOL...

Btw, my BS/MS/PhDEE were all on full Presidential scholarship/fellowship from a top engineering school. God DOES exist, and he DOES answer prayers. My original point was that killing unborn children causes the world to lose Einsteins, scientists, entrepreneurs, Olympic athletes, as well as the ordinary, and yes, criminals. @peacefulruler1 I just have to jump in here really quick. I'm glad to hear that your daughter is doing well. You must be proud...BUT if she had been aborted, you would never have known her. That might be a sad thought now that you DO know her, but if you never knew her you could never miss her. I mean, back THEN you didn't know she'd be so successful. So the point you're making is moot. It's a dumb argument. But, I AM glad that your wife made the choice that was right for the 2 of YOU.

@TheBlitMaster There's a reason that China's economy is growing so fast besides their lower standard of living=cheaper labor cost. As you said, income can come from others buying your products. Workers invent, develop, and make products. More workers=greater possible productivity. Also, what would we do in a war against China? They have 5 times as many people, kids mostly boys. Their armies/pilots would be 500% larger than ours.

Well that was like listening to every single poorly thought-out, emotion-based pro-abortion argument I've ever heard, all at once. Guess what, I'm a woman and I'm still against abortion. People are alive and human before birth...it's a scientific fact. On that basis alone I am against abortion. And yes, I have kids - I know what it's like to be pregnant, to struggle with it, to have problems, and to raise kids on a small income. Been there, done that. I'm still pro-life...and also pro-woman.

It's the most important fact in this entire debate! Nothing is more important. The legality of abortion is NOT based on science, and it should be - science doesn't really lend much support to most pro-choice arguments. In fact, it supports the pro-life side far more. @Sueezee1 IN my country, Canada, it is legal to abort up until birth. I am aware of the legalities. To me, the fact that unborn babies are both alive and human DO matter, because THEY are the ones who are being aborted. As for how legalities can be based on science, laws surrounding medical practice certainly are.
