@RJKHOTS I've only seen ants. But, the bamboo worms - and some other stuff - would keep the whole way across the world in the mail - I'm sure of it. Whether it's legal to send or not - I've no idea.

In China, I had duck tongue, fish eyes, chicken feet, pig feet, duck blood, and I'm sure some other things that I just didn't know but ate anyway. Actually, most of them weren't half bad once you know how to eat them and see that it's normal for everyone to be eating them. Most of it's in your head when you think something is gross to eat. Gotta be open-minded when traveling.

Haha good on you for trying new things anyway man, it's USUALLY never half as bad as you think it will be. I'd much prefer having what all the locals eat and get to enjoy it than eating Mcdonalds crap in another country, like most of the foreigners do overseas. Plus the locals gain much more respect for you. And I'm a girl. I'm 22 years old and went to China for a year. Excellent experience, I recommend it.

actually in China, people from different province eat diiferent diet. For example, Cantonese eat many things listed here and most Chinese people don't eat what Cantonese eat, we always laugh at them;

By the way, in the other provinces, the diets are pretty normal. Some provinces near Korea may eat dogmeat during winter though

In Hungary the pig feet is very delicious dish, I like very much. The blood sausage is my favourite. I like shrimp, crab, but I do not try insect, exception of starvation.

i've eaten them myself.  there is almost no flavor. the reason Thais love these is because it's "rich man's food" because someone has to physically climb the trees to get the larvae.
