I honestly do not know. By the looks of it probably not. You just play as whoever the main character is in the story line. My gut tells me you will play a lot as Patroklos and Pyrrha, maybe occasionally you will play as someone else in story mode. But it's all a mystery right now.
well it would be cool to actually play an actual story line instead of trying to figure out the cannon ending with 25 characters lol
