I noticed something concerning remakes:

Ruby/Sapphire/Firered/Leafgree­n/Emerald

Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/Heartgo­ld/Soulsilver

So, if this pattern continues (which I believe it will), Gen 5 will go something like this:

Black/White/???Ruby/???Sapphir­e/Gray

Basically, Gen 3=remakes before third version, Gen 4=remakes after third version,

and Gen 5=remakes before third version. It's very surprising how few people have actually mentioned this.

depends on the usage for it. as a lead, use speed form to lay entry hazards. as an offensive powerhouse, use deoxys-attack form who is fast and ridicoulously strong. normal form is basically outclassed by its other forms, and defense form is bulky and can take hits like a monster

@t7trebor Hard to say. Speed is used to set up for other pokemon to sweep. He can still do some damage by himself since he's got a fair amount of bulk and power. Attack doesn't sweep as well as some would lead you to believe. Rather, it is pokemon you go to if you absolutely need to kill something that hassles you. He makes pikachu look bulky with his non-existent defense, and will die to anything it cannot one hit. This will happen more often than you think.

@t7trebor People say the normal form has no real niche with inferior offensive stats compared to its attack form. However, it still has offensive stats that match Rayquaza with the same blistering speed of Deoxys-A, and unlike D-A,, it can actually survive weak priority hits. Don't expect it to tank blows from Scizor though. D-Def really is outclassed as a defender since Psychic is a poor defensive type to start with. It has quite low hp; In short, it has many shortcomings not unlike cresselia.

@t7trebor It depends on your battling strategy, here's how I play my cards:

Attack form- teach it an all-powerful moves that will likely 1HKO an opponent. Do not teach any defensive moves- its defensive is too low to handle it.

Defense form- have it learn more status moves more than other forms since it's attack isn't as high. A good example would be recover, toxic etc.

Speed form- it's slightly versatile out of the others and can out-speed any Pokemon. You should have at least 1 status move.
