  • this video sucks. we barely get to hear about "the world's largest rodent"

  • its at 2:03 for those who want to skip ahead instead of watching stuff that has nothing ot do with the title....

  • thx

  • This video is named after like 2 seconds of the entire clip. That's kind of... lame? Yeah its lame. Good clip overall though, just the title is misleading.

  • they are closely related to guinea pigs

i think they are cute ^^

but out of the more common rodents most of us know, they are more related to the guinea pigs then rats or mice.

  • fuk man

  • I agree with tehchapster

  • Wait, what?

A video called "World's Largest Rodent" yet we don't see this rodent untill over half way through the video, and even then we only see it and hear about it for what? 7 seconds?

    Stupid video.

  • hahahaha i no!

  • capibara

  • omg they look like giant hamsters!! :D so kawaii!!!!!! they snakes r adorable too!! n.n

  • IF you want to see capybara videos, go to my channel. It's all about Caplin Rous, the world's most famous pet capybara.

  • change the title -.-

  • Why is the largest rodent only in it for 5 seconds and rest is surrounded by astoundingly boring geographical stuff.

  • I am glad some civilization is reaching these poor people.

  • *palmface*

  • I know - Android18uk, I know - I would palmface too if I saw people suffering disease, drought, ignorance and fear and left them in it just because we think they must be happy living in a pile of mud.

  • Well at least they are happy, in fact alot less stressed is found in these type of cultures than in busy city life. They aren't starving to death, for god sake,

  • Actually - their mortality rate is very high. The farther one moves from modern medicine, the higher mortality rate there is for children and infants. Now - I KNOW modern medicine is not perfect (not yet), nevertheless, modern medicine is light years ahead of what the local people have. The noble savage myth is just that - a myth. These people are not happy - they just know nothing else. We are their brothers and sisters - they are human and deserve what we have as well.

  • Well they look pretty happy and stress free in the video. The river supplys them fresh water and food. So they don't have modern medicine or modern technology but as you said yourself, it's all they know and they are happy living the way they are, in harmony with nature! We don't seem to be helping them anyway, just taking minerals and oils for our own benefits.

  • they look like beavers

  • capibara my ass....

chiguire.... thats what we actually call those things.... taste really good, too =D

  • My guinea pigs are better.

  • cool. not what i thought it was but cool.

  • that thing looks like a retard

  • erm.. who are you talking to?

  • wheres my fucking capybara?

  • Uh, shouldn't they relabel the video as "Orinoco River" then, if the rodent was only shown for what, 5 seconds?

  • Oh, but were'nt you better for it?

  • You're right i was going to say that but it would count as spam.

    shouldn't they?

  • Lame lame lame lame lame. They showed the Capibara like what? Once!?! Lame.

  • yeah, i was dissapointed as well. Why would you title it that and then give it 4 seconds of the entire video.

  • This is amazing and beautiful!

    ~RedX4Ryuk~

  • 長崎バイオパークにて

  • I lol'd at "and there are big snakes too"

It's like he's just stating random animals that live there, not the rodent.

  • this is a cool channel. i wish my dish network got it. Capybaras r like my fav animal!!!!

  • Wait, where's the rodent?

  • 2:05-2:12. There you go. Thank you. You are welcome.

  • Natives.

  • that sucked! I wanna know more about the Crapybear thing

  • This movie only has 8 seconds of footage showing the Capybara, that's like if in the movie Alien the alien only popped up for two seconds in the middle of the movie and got killed right after.

  • Ive heard they are delisious.

  • Whoops didn't mean to double-post

  • booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They have those giant rodents in high park.

  • Shouldn't this be called like Orinoco something? Only 1 part of world largest rodent

  • his voice is so boring....

  • This is complete bullshit. Everybody knows the Chupacabra is the largest rodent in the world.

  • Roflmao!!

  • Lmaooooo.

  • rofl this is just a stupid drunk mexican who got scared of a rat and was 2 ashamed so he claims it was an alien

  • you know, you use the title for the main idea not the couple fucking 10 seconds for the name

  • CHANGE THE DARN TITTLE TO "the Orinoco rivER" NOT RODENTS WHICH YOU TALK ABOUT FOR A WHOLE 8 SECONDS!!!! WTF???

  • wtf ive seen those at the zoo downtown! nothing amazing

  • well done, but if we as humans are not careful, then that will be the last place that we will ever be able to see them. we keep taking over natural habbitats and forgetting about the animals. but i spose, if we can seem them in a little enclosure in a zoo its nothing amazing...

  • We keep taking over land because theres too many of us and not enough land, we've become too overpopulated. Sad yes, but people are always going to think of their own basic needs of survival and often their wants for things like money, luxury and comfort, before worrying about the needs of other things, like the environment.

  • Dave:

Overpopulation is a myth. The earth can comfortably hold significantly more than are alive right now.

    *Overcrowding* is the problem.

  • true it could, but not without making every other specie out there suffer. but of course no one cares about that -_____-

  • That's bs - we have already exceeded the earth's carrying capacity due to overpopulation!

  • Actually that's far from true. According to United Nations 1998 world population estimates there will be nearly 6 billion people on the planet as of 1999, and we are still under 7 Billion as of 2007. If you took these 6 billion people, split them up into family units of four and gave them each a piece of land 50' x 50', the entire population of the planet would fit very easily into the state of Montana (with over 300 billion square feet left over!). Google that shit!!

  • The important thing to remember here is the amount of resources the earth can support vs. the amount of resources that number of people will consume.

  • I didn't know that. Do you think we as a communal society can survive efficiently though? (not trying to mock)

  • Its sad this is the way things are, but mother nature always balances things out, and by the way things are going, soon enough something will happen in which humans will reduce violently in number or become extinct altogether, and while we will take out many more species with us before this happens, the balance will slowly return, and new species will evolve.

  • skip to 2:08 if ur not patient

  • haha only about 8 seconds of the video is linked with the video title!

  • the orinoco river and its suplies??

  • What could be suitable video title? Either crucial species nor site name. Americas?

  • the title is completly wrong it only talks about the rodent for like 10 seconds
