That question "How do you go back to your old life?" is asked by soldiers and marines who have seen combat. How do you go back to a life where your life is not is the balance every second of every day? They cant. I remember the scene from The Hurt Locker, where the main character, who disarmed bombs in Iraq, was home and unable to select a box of cereal. He had adapted to the adrenaline rush of disarming bombs, and wasn't able to do the mundane everyday task of grocery shopping.

I left home from a small town when i was 16, and lived on the street, and out on the road, and in the forest for almost 15 years...I traveled all over the U.S. and I just finally came home last year, I was 31...And this part of the movie, the quote...How do you return to your old life.?

I Cried watching this...I know the feeling so very well, And I believe there is no going back, but instead we must move forward and try as hard as we can to make the best of what we are given.
