@mina319 Superman is who ever you grew up watching. I grew up watching Dean Cain so that is who I see as Superman. Not to say he was perfect, I don't think anyone has portrayed Superman/Clark Kent perfectly yet.
@EddyDraks Christopher Reeve was THE Superman, trust me. Watch the old movies. He played two characters so well, to the point that even when he was Clark you could still see a little Superman underneath. He kept them together and apart at the same time. Genius.

Dean Cains Superman wasn't very good but his Clark worked great, the way he was jealous of Superman and when he wanted to protect Lois as Clark and she wouldn't let him just seemed like he was your average guy. IMHO, he appears too much like Alex Mercer from Prototype in the beginning (in appearance and broodiness, not wanton massacre) and is a bit broody. That said, I like there's a version that explores him trying to get along in the modern day. Might have a little more character than bland does-it-all-right-and-always-did man.
@TheZacula the earth one story isnt another remake... its set in an alternate universe that is designated as earth 1, the current continuity is designated earth 0. so the story in earth 1 is an entirely different superman that could very well be completely different 2 any other superman
There will be no other Superman like Tom Welling, Christopher Reeves was Number 1, Tom is Number 2, and that's that folkes ! although i may be wrong, who knows what the future holds for Superman.
