Looking at the dozens and dozens of paragraphs from people who think they need to dispute any of this.... I'd say you've done a fine job pissing off some christians, I tip my hat to you sir, well done.
Now that I've refuted all of your little arguments. I'd like to see the real arguments you have. I recognize this was meant to be funny. However I'm challenging you to come up with an argument as to why God does not exist. Please, bring facts to the table, I'm a man of science, and that's why i came to God. Confused? I'd be happy to enlighten you on the proof I have of why God DOES exist.
#28 Negative, because a doctor who inspects a woman during an examination is not a pervert. It is required to do the operation or procedure. Namely, there is no sexual drive behind the viewing of the naked body for the doctor. Likewise, God has no sexual desire for us while He watches us. So He is not a pervert. #29 Again childish. #30 Jesus drank wine on a number of occasions, and made water into wine. However, if one is driven to sin while drunk, it says to then avoid being drunk.
#23 Ok and? #24 That's your decision. #25 That would be incorrect. The term "atheist" is a negative version of "theist". A theist is one who believes in Theology, or the study of God. Anyone who reads the Bible, can be called a theist. An atheist is one who does not believe in the presence of a Supreme Being of any kind (Judea-Christian God or not). So no, a Christian is 100% Theist, and 0% Atheist. #26 God believes in Himself. Therefor, He is not an atheist. #27 That's just childish.
#16 He hung himself. #17 Well that has zero factual basis to stand on. #18 I'd be happy to let you talk to my child about evolution. She is a smart girl, and she readily looks for truth. However, one genus evolving into another genus has no truth. #19 Would love to hear the new arguments for it. #20 I honestly don't know enough about them, but it seems a little fishy. #21 Well eventually you run out of room for both. Only so many churches are needed. #22 There because a Christian wrote it. Yep.
#13 Hmm, yes there are some similarities in the story of Horus and the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Nothing really to prove that Jesus isn't who He is though. #14 I could definitely say that yes, His suffering is nothing compared to those who willingly deny Jesus day in and day out, despite His love for them. But there is punishment for those who absolutely refuse Jesus. Sorry, but although He is a loving God, He is also a God of Justice. #15 They had more than two sons. But they were the first.
#9 By definition, since Mary was not married to God, I guess you could say yes. Doesn't change that He is Christ. #10 Well neither of those are true, so next. #11 This needs a little clarification. If you're talking about the many branches that argue which is right, well that is a little silly, but if you're referring to others defending their faith, then I would say you're wrong. #12 Jesus was placed in a tomb as a memorial by a believer out of respect. Doing so He also fulfilled a prophecy.
#5 Well in a way, I guess it was. But since there are Christians in nearly every country in the world now, I would say no. #6 Well the birthplace of Christianity is Christ Himself. So if you want to tell the Jews about the Muslim stronghold thing, I'm sure they'll listen more. #7 I agree. Jesus was likely brown skinned, not white. Probably not black though. #8 Jesus had a father, and a stepfather. Unless you're referring to God the Father, and the Holy Spirit which are both two and one, then yes
Your 30 ways to piss of Christians aren't very effective. #1 Their choice, sinful or not, is theirs. #2 We eat bread and wine in remembrance of God. Few branches of Christianity believe it becomes His body and blood. #3 Yes there are people who claim to be Christian and do horrible things. But clearly they didn't follow the teachings of Christ. #4 Without you quoting any specific reference that condones those, I'm going to ignore this one until further facts are brought up.
4. Nowhere is rape condoned. 'Slavery' back in the day, was actually a causal way to earn money, or pay someone back. It was considered honorable. As for 'murder', different time, different place. The Bible was written in barbaric times; lawlessness was the norm. Learn your history.
@sihskaiekkcm Kill the unbelievers and their wives that have known a man by lying with them, and take the women that has not known a man by lying with them (virgins) as your own (rape them), just one of the many examples learn your bible sir
@Curassus Nice! Putting your own interpretation as fact and completely ignoring the preceding context is completely unbiased and fair! I could do that with every verse in the bible.
Why would anyone get mad at this? This is either trolling, or same ol' atheist ignorance that you can find everywhere on the internet.
@sihskaiekkcm I take the literal interpretation, check out evilbible(dot)com it shows you a shit ton of examples. I could get into the many intellectual refutations of certain theist claims but these are to merely piss off christians.
@Curassus I sort of guessed it. Evilbible.. Doesn't that suggest at least some degree of biasm? How about you put that 'intellectuality' of yours in better use..
You take the out of context interpretation. No where in the bible does it say that rape is approved. And if you look a little further, you'll know exactly what was to be done with female captives. Go on.
@sihskaiekkcm I assumed you would have said something like that, most people do, but i go to the verse it cites and it says the same thing. Theists are geniuses when it comes to tap dancing around scripture with the whole "thats just mans interpretation" no thats EXACTLY what it says.
@Curassus But what exactly does it say? No where does it explicitly mention rape. Evil Bible does indeed cite the verses they are 'talking about'.. Wait, no they don't.. There is one specific passage that is not mentioned, yet it's the key to put things into its correct context. Why was this not mentioned?
Deuteronomy chapter 22, verse 25; But if out in the country a man happens to meet a girl pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall DIE.
@Curassus What Evil Bible also enjoys doing is using different translations when needed. This works wonderful when you want to twist around a few verses to suit your own agenda. Nonetheless, the actual passages in which Evil Bible represents to you as fact is in fact bits & pieces taken from different verses, meaning no context whatsoever.
@sihskaiekkcm Even if you leave out the rape parts what about the criteria met in order to justify a death sentence? Slavery? bashing babies against rocks? killing the first born sons? even without the rape the Bible still cites malevolent shit.
@Curassus I've already gone through slavery. A rather famous saying would be in order.. "Different time, different place"... You have to understand that human standards change with history. What would be considered as fine conquests in ancient days, would be considered as brutal acts towards humanity today. (Genocides, etc.) Which is ironic, but nvm.
There are a lot of weird stuff in the bible (OT), no doubt about it.. But suffice it to say, so is human history -- it's all relevant.
Im a christian and this was so stupid it was funny. Ps whats wrong with a black jesus you racist.
