You forget one thing guys. The performance was excellent, it couldn't be any better. However, the SimCity 2000 intro music was saved as MIDI, and thus it can't have all the sounds the piano has ;)

Unfortunately simcity societies was not created by maxis the original creators of sim city. SO therefore you cant relate sim city 4 to Sim city societies. All they have in connection is EA the tyrant of all video games.
