Umm.. basically if you have already downloaded and installed the new firmware 3.0 then once you see the new update for the new firmware you should be able to successfully install it without any complications. This is a similar experience that I went through and I clicked yes and nothing happened, iTunes accepted, and let me dl the new firmware.
