@Traxxas144 I love the proline shocks, the dual spring coil makes it so much stronger for jumps and way more responsive. I'd say if you really want to stop the bounce, change the oil. Make it stiffer, like maybe 50 in all.

@fabtec4life hehe...instead of using a single screw through the unit, MIP uses two set screws from either side compressing into the middle. If one comes loose in the slightest, you just lost the whole axle. I used threadlocker..still lost two at high speed. I'm still using the stock plastic ones now.
@slash4x4lipo Absolutely. Not a single sign of rust on the bolts anymore. I've snapped a few bolts, and I bought a second set of screws for the 2WD Slash as spares. But definitely one of the best upgrades I've invested in.
awsome slash man idk if u can even call it a slash now lol dont go to metal spur there arnt good. there very expensive $30 compared to $3, they make temps go up, sound horrible, and believe it or not strip. and u dont wont 30 bucks to go to waist lol. i had the same problem stripping spurs every 2 runs but i fixed it. wen u jump the motor back off and strips. so i tighten the motor mount screw all the way untill it slides trying to tighten it more
@Sleytownmafia I already bought the gear and have been using it for a few weeks at this point. So far it's been extremely reliable, and I've had no issues of burn ups or stripped gears. It sounds like a gas RC car now with the whine the engine produces, but I like it. I have an Integy Motor Cooler on the motor, and my ESC fan. I've never gotten above 130* on a 19/54 3S lipo setup. Except for when I add in the overtray. As good as it is, I still turn down the gears and rarely go fast.
@surfernerdboi69 cool lol i run 19/54 too lol well now im running 13/54 untill i get a new one it keeps the temps down good and i had problems with my 19 coming off after 15 secs of running idk y
@Sleytownmafia I exploded my first 19t gear. It literally imploded into 5ish pieces. I have been running solid steel 13/18/19 gears since and I've had no problems with them falling off. I do use a bit of blue thread locker when i tighten them on. It helps significantly!
@Sleytownmafia your probably using the red or green color. Those are more permanent models. The blue is perfect that a screwdriver and not much love will turn it.
Spur and Pinion wise ive heard not to go steel.. It'l Transfer all the energy to other parts of ur driveline and cause some big dmg.. just what I've heard so watch out lol
@mmrsmotocrossracer I blew out 3 spur gears today alone. I ordered the steel gears, I'm done. I have everything else in this truck reinforced with titanium or RPM plastics. The entire drive train is now steel, and my center shaft is soon to be carbon fiber. I'm uploading a vid tonight from the beach.
Awesome man that thing always looks good :D gonna be sick when the lights work :) cant wait to see some vids of this in action.. I finally got a camera so when i get mine ill put vids up bashin it hard :D
What swaybars do u think would work the best for bashing and jumping? And for some high speed, I got a 7.2v 5000mAh 25c lipo on the way.

@surfernerdboi69 Hi there, would you recommend 16/54 3s lipo for off road and on roading.
cheers
KSubhi2011 6 months ago
@KSubhi2011 Definitely. Never use the high speed 19/54 off road. You will overheat so quick.
