  • My friend had a really bad trip, and only took him 6 mo to get over it, not a life time.

But I remember the other day in classy teacher was telling me about motion trails, like when you wave your had it looks like in more than one spot months after taking acid, but all I said was "sounds fuckin awesome!" and he said sounds scary. Scary my ass!

  • @DrummerLSE yes, I can make myself see 'trails' to this day and it's been 35 years.

  • @DrummerLSE That sounds way crazy Acid is its own thing for sure

  • dumbo the elephant

  • @3rdEyeBoi Fuck you hah

  • Kept hoping one of the doctors would root in favor of the drug. Man, fuck propaghanda

  • The screaming scene on this film is priceless. Specially since the actress clearly can't keep a smile off her face.

  • 5:41 y are his ears soo BIG

  • I dId acid last night and it was the worst thing of my life insight yes insanity hell yes dont do this drug

  • @TheBurnside1 sorry, if it was that bad you wouldn't be writing about it until you were released.

  • @JonBenait06 It was more like i was not used too it and so i got scared thats all

  • actually... it's highly effective at treating cluster migraines. So, not only was it effective for it's original purpose, but also in waking thousands of people up to each other.

  • 2:12 "yes, a kick in the head (head, head, head, head, head...)"

damn, this phrase makes me wanna taste LSD!

  • LSD teaches you to begin to know yourself. It throws into sharp relief, .perspectives of reality and consciousness that you were previously unaware of. Definitely a life-changing, and mind-bending experience, for good and bad, depending on how you learn to look at stuff.

  • @Y0UTUBERCUL0SIS you understand the mind and you see the world for what it Really is!

  • How can you measure creativity man?

  • @oliviaisgod you measure creativity this way: first, you listen to all the Beatles albums released before 1966. Yeah, even Rubber Soul. Then, you listen to all the albums released after 1965. Hear the difference? That is creativity. Some would label it insanity and indeed, they, we, we all, were insane back then. But now we're running things. So, just take your meds, son, and everything will be all right. And remember to vote. Very very important to choose your leaders..

  • when you take lsd you become psychotic. You might wonder what mental illness really means after taking these substances...at least for me it was that way...

  • one of those Nixon propaganda films from the late 60s that i remember ... ,i was 7maybe 8 and we (the kids) knew it was bullshit, but some of us became interested in drugs because of the films and the police coming to our school to show us actual drugs, we didnt even think about drugs until they tried to indoctrinatate us with these lies, its sad all the lives ruined because of the laws and the lies,

  • I sincerely hope the corn-holes that participated in the making of this putrid piece of propaganda ended up strung out on meth or heroin, even better alcohol or tobacco. Agree?

  • Edit: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, sorry.

  • How did they measure creativity? Idiots. Kesey says A Clockwork Orange came from the creativity LSD brought to him. I'm more inclined to believe him than a suit who's trying to measure creativity.

The death in animals thing is a horrible misrepresentation as well. You would need not ten times a normal trip, but ten thousands times before the dose would be considered lethal. That's why there are no reported overdoses.

And set and setting make all the difference in the world, too.

  • @Svipall That should read "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". Don't know why I had Clockwork in mind.

  • @Svipall You are right. How can they say the creativity to write/perform Psych/Acid Rock could have been the same without LSD? LOL!

  • Who the fuck crowds people in a room full of 10 people and trips these days? damn 60s you crazy!

  • this video is against LSD? Or is it an advertising for it?

  • maybe i want to see color . why not?

  • how come they dont show the "good trips?"....

  • @pythonyka because its an "educational" film. they're never going to show you the beauty and enjoyment one can get, due to its illegality. only the negatives.

acid changes your views on life.

  • In the 70's, my buds and i dropped plenty of acid. Mostly Windowpane, but also a lot of Purple Microdot. None of us ever had a "Bad Trip". We also made sure we had a big bag of weed, to mellow out the buzz. We didn't do it for loftier purposes, like art, or expanding our minds. We used it as a party drug. We loved it. And, we never did heroin, or Meth, or other "hard" drugs, like the man says we were going to 'move up" to.

  • "Creativity is 10% inspiration" BULLLSHIIIIIIIT

  • you could always drop a cap of acid.... now thats the real stuff!! haha what a champ.

  • you could always drop a cap of acid.... now thats the real stuff!! haha what a champ.

  • pre sure when i'm trippen like a penguin trying to walk, i don't think my stove-tops a flower......

  • "and if grass doesn't make it for ya baby, well you can alwayz drop a cap of acid.......... now that's the reeeall stuff"

  • This is factually verifably bullshit!

  • it feels like im watching anticomunist propaganda

  • 4:14 he has reeeaaally big ears

  • YES! THE DANGER MUST BE GROWING

  • @burgerkingmurders FOR THE ROWERS KEEP ON ROWING AND THEY'RE CERTAINLY NOT SHOWING ANY SIGN THAT THEY ARE SLOWING!!

  • @Anyu31 pendulum man :D

  • "It all happened in a laboratory much like this one" = we produce our own acid too.

  • I had this really horribly stuffy congestion. High-powered blotter acid cleaned that shit right up.

  • the end was SUPER DISTURBING

  • sadly many people are dying from prozak and so on, all this junk prescribed to poor depressed people, and so drug companies can cash in..

  • HAhahahahahahahahahahahah!

  • hey wait! how the fuck do you measure creativity?

  • About not doing anything for migraines or headaches.... LSD helps cluster headaches just saying.

  • is this narrated by Elmer Thud

  • I love the soundtrack, they dont produce music like this anymore

  • LSD was the "chicken" of the Boomer generation.

  • LSD ... -> 6 year old kids getting in fridges and riding down stairs in bikes?

  • Look up Project MKULTRA

  • 5:25 DO IT FAGGOT

  • wow, it's films like this that make people have bad trips.

Some people have enough control, and are comfortable enough with

themselves to take certain drugs. Some don't.

If you're not sure about taking something, don't take it. Otherwise, have fun!

  • glad I was'nt born then!

  • The 50's looks like a dumb time!

  • these are all lies...an lsd trip is not like insanity, if it was why would anyone take it? this movie is full of half truths, generalizations and straight up lies!

  • lies to scare the youth

  • take a trip from squaresville daddio!

  • I <3 AC!D

    its not for everyone though,

only the ones who can handle it.

    some people are pussies.

    for all my pych heads

    follow the light bearer

live your life and do what you please

    love or hate, just appreciate

    lose your fuckin minds niggas

  • @RetnuhDrallim

Follow the light bearer? The light bearer is Satan..you know that right?

  • @Roughneck8 YEP, HES A COOL FELLOW.

  • @quinfreaky

I'm not religious...so you're not making me angry or anything...Just acting like a fool :\

wait...are you acting??? Probably not if you're gonna joke about that.

    fail troll is fail.

  • @Roughneck8 I seriosly think that many aspects of satan are very good aspects. Didn't try to troll you, also if I was trolling I would have been succesfull as you gave me a response.

  • @Roughneck8 "Follow the light bearer? The light bearer is Satan..you know that right?" Lucifer is the lightbearer. Satan is the Dark Lord. ;)

  • so sad that males have a need to prove their manhood... I thought you turned 18 and you were!

  • lol smoke on am stoned now its all amazin

  • Films like this made the curious amongst us want to try drugs even more. I saw this @ '71 and I had already tripped at age 13 in '69! Nobody I ever knew had a "flashback" and sure, there were lots of bad trips, but mostly it was just interesting. Nothing creative about it, I'll agree there. You're just too fucked up to create anything.

  • That bitch at the end was freaking the fuck out. haha

  • @BradyBrutal6969 you are more evil than satan if you laugh at someone on a bad trip - but karma is a stronger and more patient bitch than you and one day you will freak out bad!

  • "very, very cool. very, very groovy."

    yea, thats an understatement.

  • Real insight IS insanity compared to the social programming box of the false realities most people are spoon fed by the media and other control devices. What is real... Not this nor that.. I like to base my reality on my own experiences outside of my programming. People lay down your critical left brain and embrace the love and beauty of self, others and the Divine where there is no difference and no separation.

  • @moebaby67 there is also insanity without any insight...dont bullshit yourself.

  • INSTANT INSANITY!!!!!! OHNOEZZZZ!!!

  • I'm sure I don't even need to say it, but there's a huge amount of inaccuracy in this film.

  • guys please explain to me how you can call someone a stoner by comparing them to the movie Invictus

  • we are all insane.. lsd just makes u honest about it

  • You can totally see the guys designing the hallucination sequences had NOT taken LSD! "Just throw up some jazz music over splattered paint, that sounds pretty crazy, right?"

  • I've never wanted to try LSD before watching this.

  • the person who made this vid had no cultural history to draw on when making claims such as LSD is a fad. Its not a fad, humans have been honouring psychedlic mind states for over 30 000 years, without psychedelics in the culture we our sick, just look at all those conservatives who wont touch them, I consider there world view MAD.

  • Damn, this voice would be nice on a MF DOOM-track.

  • @damonehopen haha word!

  • this just makes me wanna get high. im kinda missing the point but the guy is dam anoyying

  • "some even dead"...ahh no thank you lies

  • i like how noone ever lead a smear campaign against mushrooms.

  • Comment removed

  • haha host voice is classic

  • 5:30 shoulda had a full suss MTB!!

  • ~What measure of heatlh is it to be well adjusted with a profoundly sick society?~

Once in awhile? See you in the "void" ;).

  • id say its insight IN insanity.

  • I wish i could get some acid :( i want to try it so bad haha

  • you can't try it. LSD tries you. I got arrested awhile back and was found to be in possession of 200-300 hits. So, i know there is a police locker around here with some of the dankest shit around....

  • what a surprise! people always trying to blame lsd for those who go crazy. It has nothing to do with acid. Those are people that were aready fucked up, even a joint or two would do the same damage.

  • Good point. There are people with massive childhood trauma walking around barely holding it together through the use of repression and dissociation. Any amount of HONESTY or TRUTH, any kind of reality check or wake up call is very dangerous to the health of liar of this caliber. It will detroy their attempt to avoid the pain they refuse to face. Nothing to do with any drug or any person or ideology that makes them face facts and have the breakdown that is bound to come somehow.

  • Repression and dissociation , thats are the right words... peace!.

  • How many people have gone on violent rampages on alcohol?

  • Life changing experience, TurdSandwich!

Expect anything and accept the unknown would be my best advice. Have a mentor/friend with you for your first trip. See ya on the other side.

  • so someone tell me is lsd good or not so i can decide wether 2 take it or not

  • in the words of Albert Hofmann, LSD is medicine for the soul; it can be used to turn us into what we are supposed to be

  • The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. People who are already mentally unstable can go over the deep end when they take it. People who are pretty stable and brave, free of fear and insecurity, etc. ostensibly do OK and have a very positive experience. Only you can decide, don't let anyone push you into something like that.

  • @maximilian333 it seems to me that LSD liberates the mind. So when sober most of our strongest fears or most terrifying memories are repressed and cannot be recalled vividly. However, taking LSD, these traumatic memories can surface vividly as if in a fully-aware dream state. So on the positive side it can induce more creative thought by opening the mind and making these thoughts more vivid, but on the contrary can also cause terrible experiences, like having a nightmare but being fully aware

  • Definitely have a mentor/friend/sitter with you. Try Grof protocol at first - soft lights only (Xmas lights are good), listen to music (look up "Hearts of Space" online) on headphones, keep eyeshades on. It is reported to be very good for a lot of things, when used properly - altho some prefer shrooms as smoother/ more natural, I find they have same types of effects (for me anyway). Go to maps d0t 0rg for scholarly info.

  • suicides sirusly....wtf what a big fat ass lie....

i droped acid like 2 seconds ago and its not my first time trust me....ive had bad trips and good one but never has anyone know comited of even herd of someone killing them selfs while on it those people were depressed before they took it its not the acids fualt

  • insight through insanity

  • exactly

  • @MMiller562 this is the best comment ive ever read on youtube

  • @MMiller562 I would say insanity through the insight. Because acid makes you aware of everything.

  • @OtterStarlight

it was beautiful as he said it

  • @MMiller562 You're exactly right.

  • Insight.

  • thats not a real doctor haha!

  • how do you measure creativity?

  • that's exactly what I thought!

  • is that creative test multiple choice wtf? because after seeing and feeling the craziest shit you'll ever see and feel seems like you could paint a more interesting picture or write more interesting lyrics!!

  • It's ironic Sal Mineo should have narrated this film. Sal shows up in DA Pennebaker's documentary "Monterey Pop", sitting there in a red shirt obviously tripping his brains out right in the middle of Country Joe's song "Section 43".

  • Its a mixture of both.

  • those are one of the cool, groovy names for it!

  • 9:20 to 9:25 zoom spam

  • Yes LSD made that girl at the end insane forever, and it could happen to you too! =p

This piece of propaganda actually isn't too bad, but it is still of course just that, propaganda.

  • absolutely! Lets ignore the MILLIONS of lives torn apart from substance abuse involving nicotine and alcohol.. lets instead focus all of our attention on this tiny minority of people who choose to get happy in their own spare time..

  • @GervaisRicky Very true, if you can`t fight the masses doing it, just tax it like nicotine and alcohol.

  • @GervaisRicky

Agreed. if i drink three galons of oil will they forbid it?cos i am pretty sure i am gonna die..

  • @GervaisRicky

Deflecting the subject to the effects of other drugs does not discount the true dangers of LSD.

  • @flagwaver1969

This sort of propaganda championed only by 'flagwavers' is designed only to instill fear, not knowledge.

  • how do you measure creativity?

  • derekkozinski - I think creativity is subjective. You could feel like you were more creative just because you were having a lot more ideas. They won't all be good ideas, and you'll still have to work on them to make them into something, but there you go.

  • It was found that people freak out when we strap them down and run around them wearing lab coats!

  • @dullsvillain Exactly. That's what I was thinking. "Let's calm her down and let her know we're not out to get her. Tie her up!"

  • Although this is an anti-LSD propaganda, it is far more rational than the mass produced pamphlets, tracts, and sophomoric anti-drug "literature" which is mass produced by the drug abuse industry. At least they had Dr. Sidney Cohen at 7:20 who was one of the pioneers of LSD research and was respected by Dr. Albert Hofmann. LSD is not a toy but a tool used by psychiatrists to relieve repressed memories of their patients as commented on 5:09. A "bummer" can be a positive form of introspection too.

  • Insight. Trust me.

  • fuck all of you bagging on hippies

they were the ppl to change whole way you look at the world around you...alot of things today are inspired by tht movement and way of life...all the things that inspire you to be different is inspired by tht movement

i will be damned if some mother fucker talking shit said the hippies did nothing for us...you probly never tried drugs or anything...you lack curiousity and empathy to be talking shit about something you will never KNOW or UNDERSTAND

  • dude beatniks were cooler than hippy's

  • this video is so one sided. to scare ppl away... but if your afraid to take it... get ready for a bad trip IMO. but if you wanna have a good time. your gonna have a good time. i never did acid tho. only other junk.. if anyone here is wanting to take it... just take it when your really ready. thats my advice.

  • KFC chicken bones outta da car window... and some golf clubs marinated in sun flower oil. don't expand yo mind... expand deez nutz suckas.

  • Psychedelics show you reality without the masks. I had to quit, because I could no longer bear to look at the state of the world without my comforting illusions of ignorance.

  • or possibly found something you havent yet. just a thought. we are all the man. we are all the system. no matter how you look at it. its all just a title. some may be realtors. but that doesnt mean they dont love themselves and the people around them. and live life. just a thought.

  • Yeah, they found something alright, an escape from reality including the issues which they needed to face. Don't argue that escapism is good. It's not debatable. Someone's title alone is worthless, but the kind of work a person does is either a benefit or a hazard to the world, so don't debate an obvious fact. Well, shit, of course they "love" what's theirs. Love is the first word a selfish person will use and bastardize. Lastly, you actually live this life when you completely stop escaping.

  • Eric?....Eric Cartman? IS THAT YOU?

  • yea but they had good music:)

  • @wonderwhaz797 This kind of reply comes only from someone who was rejected by someone they saw as a hippy once. Maybe his parents?

  • alice d has caused way less deaths than lortab, robitussin, tylenol or SSRIs, seroquel. this vid was pure lies and propaganda. alice D should be legalized. Pharma keeps good drugs illegal. we might all be nuked soon. so party down.

  • the way they try to visualize the effect of lsd is nothing like the way it actually is

  • It was the 60`s give them a break. They didn`t exactly have the technology we have now

  • Very, very cool...very, very groovy. God that's like my Grandad taking part in an illegal rave!

  • It's to bad I never hear of acid anymore..At least

wear i live..I heard one of the biggest manufactures got life in prison in 2003".The so called" family" were a very close group..They

probebly all moved to india...Oh yeh"The family

would make a batch once in a great while enough

to last up to 5 years..All over the country......

  • yeah the biggest group was selling 90% of the worlds acid and they got busted. so theres not much anymore

  • Yeah "What trips me out is these rave's" psytrance"music thats in most other countrys even mexico is kinda big on it, the partys are big anyway"..Its like thats all i here about is they got

all the psycedelic shit over there...Somebodys

makin it..Germany , israel, Straight up acid techno shit....But i never here about anymore...

  • really? i thought that but i was proven wrong the day i set out to get it. :P

  • move to australia

  • LSD is a drug that shouldn't be used relationally,

it's a very powerful psychedelic if you need to open your mind and escape.

  • Not about escape...

  • both

  • It's neither and both.

    LSD is insightful insanity.

  • well put, i was thinkin how to explain it but couldnt have said it better myself

  • They have some nerve citing Albert Hofmann. Hofmann realized the hazards of unmonitored psychedelic drug use, but he also saw the potential for well-planned and thoughtful use of the drugs. He never renounced LSD, his "problem child," but he did not endorse hucksters or opportunists who made themselves instant gurus (Tim Leary, I'm talking about you). Hofmann lived to age 102 and felt his research, and personal experimentation, had been worthwhile. And he was right.

  • Turn out 40 years later that LSD actually does cure constant headache problems.

besides sending you to wonders of 4th dimension.

  • lol

  • Wish I grew up in the groovy sixties... I would have done so, so, so many drugs; well, I do now, but anyway...

They didn't have ecstasy (real, mindblowing MDMA) back then...

  • Actually, MDMA had been tested by medical researchers as a cure for depression as early as the 1930's.

  • i could write a book about drugs.

it is such a complex matter.

but there is much mis information out

there. but drugs can be dangerous,

since no one ever knows the outcome.

    we wish it were simpler...

    we could all be groovier

  • pfff, propoganda movies of old..pathetic. so much incoorecty info and overexeggerated claims. seriously live by what albert hoffman said- "acid is not at fault. it is the way people misuse it. it is medicine for the soul and it can help you have greater insight on your conenction to nature, love, yourself and so forth". thats pretty logical when you thin of the fact that aspirin is legal but you take more than six of those and itll be your last headache xD peace ppl. dont be afraid

  • its not about taking drugs

its about which ones and WHY

  • hey iholdfire if you knew anything about doses you would know that its not considered mentally challenged its considered insanity. so if your tryin to call me out on something you should get out of your little conformist conservative shell, stop believing all the bullshit you read, go to a festivle and do some drugs and then come talk to me. and Byrian420 im down for a thumbprint whenever hit me up hommie and we'll talk

  • 1/4 of a gram of LSD

  • Hey bashour22 it sounds like your ready for a thumbprint. When you can eat a 1/4 of LSD then you can talk sjit....... 25 hits aint shit lol

  • it would be completely idiotic for anyone to ingest 1/4 g of LSD

  • everyone who is saying something on this doesnt have any clue about acid. ive been trippin acid for years and its the shit. oh mister 2 1/2 hits thats pussy shit. i dosed on 25 hits the other night on some pearl from berkley. 380 millagrams to a dose. so unless you know anything about doses dont even say anything on this

  • well seeing 12 hits considers you mentally challanged i highly doubt you took 25 hits mainly because you can still write this comment.

  • go learn about drugs from experience rather than what you read. then you might learn that 25 hits of acid is not uncommon amongst those who partake in regular LSD use. Stop being ignorant

  • What happend when you took 25 hits?

    Ive never taken one hit.
