@indiangoku I'm been learning programming for almost 4 months. Started with C/C++/C#, but mopre focous on C/C++ . Both are always challenging the programmer adn this is great :D . You should read "The C programming language" and "The C++ programming language". The best books i ever seen for programming. Humm. . If you want to hack software/Games i would advise you to learn Assembly / C++ , but more Assembly.

didnt like the reporters tone. Darren did a great job, but the less progressive and more close-minded people are going to still take it the wrong way. the other thing that doesnt help is the fact that everything you hear in the news is about crackers and what they have destroyed. you dont hear about hackers like charlie miller and others who on a regular basis report major security flaws to Apple, microsoft, 3rd party, etc, and help to protect peoples bank accounts, their precious facebook, etc.

@indiangoku I'm been learning programming for almost 4 months. Started with C/C++/C#, but mopre focous on C/C++ . Both are always challenging the programmer adn this is great :D . You should read "The C programming language" and "The C++ programming language". The best books i ever seen for programming. Humm. . If you want to hack software/Games i would advise you to learn Assembly / C++ , but more Assembly.

@waterdragon1908 at the moment i'm studying C# because it seems it's thelanguege for the future =) . C++ is also great for games, but EXREMELY diffivult in my oppinion. Assembly is the best language for hacking. It's a low level language. To study and for the industry it's a waste of time, but it's the king for the hacking :D Good luck mate :)

Phone Phreaking is a term coined in the 80's for the manipulation of the telephone systems that still used dial tones to send specific functions to one another.
Making an IPhone do something it is not meant to do is simply a breach of contract, and now hacking or phreaking (I lol'd at that) in any way.
Breaching a systems security is known as Cracking, not hacking. A Hacker is a White/Grey hat who does not commit malicous acts.

No, you can not.
Phreaking was the process by which a person would send a tone(s) down an open line in the hope that the device at the telephone exchange would accept it as a command.
Modern phones still use Dial tones for the use of Key recognition, but they are not at all use for sending any commands of any nature (With exception to fax) to a telephone exchange device.
Also, phreaking had nothing to do with ripping a phone apart, and was originally performed using a simple toy.
