I'll keep saying watever I want about the acting, i dont like any particular actress, but if you are not blind and understand the quality of acting, u will realise that from all the 3 major actresses who did the role, Soundarya, Shobana and Jyothika, it was Jyothika who did the best. Her facial, eye movement, body gesture, stance, voice was all embodiment of a possessed woman, who believes whe is "Chandramuki", so pls watch all 3 major actresses, then give your full commentary,otherwise shut up!

She is actually suffering from a mental disorder of living in the life of ancestors!! here she is totally influenced by the bengali dancer maunjulika who fell in love with a dancer but the king at that time killed him(the lover) so on full moon she swears to kill the king who for the actress is her husband. This dance is to summon her into a room where they try to tame her! Amazing movie!!
