  • Pointless video is pointless.

  • hi can you tell me the train's name so i can buy it as i want a smoke train! and if pos the averidge price. thanks

  • @crispychickenpro - here's a better idea - check out the websites of some local hobby shops yourself.

The name is in the title - Britannia.

  • love the smoke generator and sound great vid, what make are they?

  • Cool, didn´t know until know that some Hornby locos come with DCC, sound and smoke (didn´t see that anywhere on their website). May I ask you were did you buy the engine and at what price?

  • Wow!

  • wow!

  • is that the new horby brit or is she an older one?

  • how o u make smoke

  • Smoke Generator.

  • use dry ice, works like a charm :)

  • No it dosent, its heavy, so it just spews out the top and falls, so it dosent look right, use a sleuth gen.

  • Well, it worked for me :)

  • @bennyboyleeds - Google "Seuthe".

  • im getting one of those its supposed to look like murdoch! but hes was painted on that model, not a 9f. :( and he came with a another britannia.

  • WOW! THATS IS SOOOO AWESOME!

  • Excuse me, do you know where I can get that kind of station, and how if having less platforms, how could one fit on a 4x8 (or a bit bigger by a foot or two)?

  • What you mean?

    Say again by meter.

  • Where can I get the station, and could it fit on a small layout?

  • This station was built in Platform of HORNBY, Roof of PECO, combination of my own building.

Please confirm the details in each maker.

  • lol, the circus truck's in there. Nice stuff though! :)

  • Probably a question you always get asked, but how do you get such fine smoke from the engines at slow speeds? It looks so realistic!

  • No problem.

I think that a lot of smoke is caused by DCC. About 15V always turn on electricity regardless of a motor.

  • where can i buy this engine

  • Ha ha! thanks for that, I always wanted to know how to get it to smoke at slow speeds, cheers man, good luck with Sodor

  • To sparkshot

    Sorry!

I have erased your comment, because reply was not displayed, remove has been done by my mistake.(maybe system maintenance)

BTW, Why does smoke rise even if it is low-speed?

I think that reason is DCC.

Smoke rises while even stopping because DCC system always energises.

  • Taking of which, we have one of these classes called 'Gordon Brown' after our new Prime Minister and its running number is 72531, which is the greater number making the locomotive highly sprung and reassigned to heavy and faster express passenger trains. This engine resides on the Kenilworth Heritage Line, where I work at in the suburban areas.

  • where did you get the smocke maker from

  • seuthe Germany.

I bought it from UK, Express models.

  • Where did you get the chip from?

  • MRC 1639 mini HO steam decoder.(USA)
