They seem to enjoy the shock value and theatrics that come with choosing a villified figure as their mascot. A core belief of theirs is that there is no God or Satan. Totally unable to answer the question of what is the worst sin imaginable. Satinism is the most contradictory religion, it states to "do as thou wilt" which basically means do whatever you want. But what if someone wants to kill someone else or have sex with a young child. It has no answer for the problem of evil.

They make claims they cannot substantiate with rational facts. I suspect that it was the evangelical christian sect of the Jack Chick variety. They seem to enjoy the shock value and theatrics that come with choosing a villified figure as their mascot. A core belief of theirs is that there is no God or Satan. There is this video on some YouTube channels which claims that they have personal knowledge about Anton LaVey's last words. Who is it that originally produced this? They make claims they cannot substantiate with rational facts. I suspect that it was the evangelical christian sect of the Jack Chick variety. Such as farce has been done to people such as Voltaire, Tom Payne, Charles Darwin, and others. Most of what I saw was circular reasoning. They still want to profit on LaVey's coattails.

As for that "wrong feeling," it various by person and society. Guilt is sociological brain-washing. One of the reasons Satanism is so helpful is because it frees us from the inhibitions placed on us by society.

The religion is called Satanism because the character of Satan represents this philosophy. Why is that so hard to understand? We are Atheists because we reject the belief that these mythological figures are literal beings. Hindus and Wiccans also use archetypes in ritual.
And the claim that everyone practices Satanism is just silly. True Satanists are probably the smallest minority in any given community.

i've failed to see mentions of the terms: griffin, voland & pallladist. there is a short mention of satanism for fun & games back in france & england, but nothing too specific from what i recall. hell. not even the infernal names mention Herne the Hunter. I that that would be obvious due to Goya. So yeah. It comes off as skimpy, and when I first read it I thought that the Jungian representations was weird, but makes sense now
