  • Where is this school???

  • @collapoppa24 The World's Only Tattoo School is located in Shreveport, Louisiana

  • @TattooSchool there are several tattoo schools .. Including one in new york that is actually a 2 year apprenticeship

  • @sketch6774 We are aware of the copy-cat tattoo schools. When our school opened we were the world's first and only REAL tattoo school. Our tattoo training program is a series of seven 2-week intensive training sessions - it takes over a year to complete our entire program.

  • i wish i had a school,,,,when i started out 20 years ago, their was no one to learn from ,i am self taught ,i am a old school artist who ,i hit every book dvd, internet, you name it,but i wouldnt dare inking someone unless i was clean, learning to be clean was harder ,than tattooing ,today i am told by many that my area is like a hospital lol ,but yeah i think tattoo school is a great idea

  • surely people learning to tattoo should be gifted artists already, as opposed to just anyone willing to turn up and learn the basics then go out and give people terrible tattoos?

no offense but those tattoos getting done in the video where really bad.

  • @sedod66 Students should understand the basics of drawing before enrolling for our tattoo training course. Keep in mind the students in this video are beginners - do you really think someone's first tattoo will be their best tattoo? I sure hope not, But everyone has to start somewhere.

  • @sedod66 and what is the basics of drawing. i'm looking foward into becoming an tattoo artist as well

  • @gorillabiceps11 Students should be very good at tracing and shading before enrolling. These 2 basic drawing skills are the most important drawing skills for tattoo artists. The more drawing experience the better - be willing to practice drawing A LOT!!

  • @TattooSchool when you say you mean having real fine lines? and different shading skills as well? and what would you say is the best drawing method. i know how to draw but there is always more room to grow.?

  • @gorillabiceps11 If you are concerned with your drawing skills give us a call at 318-918-8904 - we can give you some drawing exercises to practice that will improve your drawing skills before you enroll.

  • How much would it cost to enroll?

  • @xelaveal $500 to enroll. Call 318-918-8904 for more info

  • why no previous tattoo experience??

  • @cricketts801 Our tattoo training program is open to beginners and experienced artists. No previous tattoo experience is required to enroll, just the basics of drawing. About 1/3 of our students have some previous tattoo experience when they enroll.

  • Bill gave me my first tattoo in 98 and it still looks good

  • I would love to go to your school!!

  • @girlieluuv94 We are currently enrolling for all 2012 class sessions!

  • Where is the school located? I would like 2 enroll

  • Where is the tattoo school located?? I would like to enroll.

  • Ok i have a question im 16 but im a really good drawer, i wanted to tattoo since i was 11 and can i be 16 and go to a course and learn how? i heard that u dont need to be a Artist to be a Tattoo artist because u trace over stencils, so i was wandering if i could go to a tattoo course at age 16?

  • @ps3xIVIoNsTeRXx Students under 18 years old must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enroll. No previous tattoo experience is required, just the basics of drawing. Call 318-918-8904 for more details

  • do you need a license to work in the tattoo shop??? lets say they r hiring people and i have my tattoo machine and i know how to tatto, do i need something else like insurance, license, etc.??

  • @pitbolibo Yes, you must be licensed to work as a professional tattoo artist. Our tattoo course can help you meet the requirements to get licensed through your local health department. Call 248-968-8961 for more info

  • were is this located?

  • @staone1 the World's Only Tattoo School is located in Shreveport, Louisiana

BUT we do have 4 new tuition payment plan options ... call 248-968-8961 to see if one will work for you

  • At what age do I has to be to attend your school? Also have you ever had people from England attend your school?

    Thanks

  • @TheJak94 students under 18 years old must have permission from a parent or guardian to enroll. Yes, students from England are welcome! All international students receive 14 free nights in a dorm room at the school.

  • Does this school provide licensing? Doubtful I'm sure.

  • @MrMofoc Yes, we help our students become licensed tattoo artists. Upon completion of our training program graduates are ready to apply for a tattoo license from their local health department. call (248) 968-8961 for more info

  • I'm going to attend WOTS this September! Looking forward to it :)

  • Would really love to attend. Been doing tattoos for about 3 months and really don't want to do an apprenticeship. Heard they suck.

  • @bigboysal1 yes, in 2 weeks we can teach an artistic person everything you need to know to become a professional tattoo artist. But it's still up to you to continue practicing what you learn after class. Our program includes 12 weeks of free optional training so you can come back to the school any time we have a class in session to continue learning & practicing.

  • im about to get a tat on my forearm...how much pain can i expect??

PS i have a pretty high pain tolerance.

  • Dont go learn how to become a shitty tattoo artist at a school. Go to a shop and get a real apprenticeship from someone who actually knows how to tattoo

  • @absolutezero300 Dr. Pogue has been tattooing since 1968 and the World's Only Tattoo School has been training professional tattoo artists since 1995.

  • @absolutezero300 lol BURN!

  • OMG these people are not sceaming!?!?!

    Cool (:

  • Hey. Check out my channle for some sweet beginner tattoos

  • I would love to learn this, but I wouldn't want to be a tattoo artist for a full time job, too much pressure. Looks so fun to learn though.

  • finally i have a reason to live.......see ya'll soon.....

  • finally i have a reason to live.......see ya'll soon

  • @fattymatty1904 there is no way you could learn everything you need to know to become a professional tattoo artist just from youtube videos. Plus we guarantee our graduates job placement.

  • @fattymatty1904 ur an asshole made because u will never be this good

  • @YLeez you get certification from a state approved trade school in artistic tattooing ..... there are no "degree" programs available for tattooing.

  • where is this school exactly? im pretty interested...

  • @xXiG3NOCiiD3iXx the World's Only Tattoo School is located in Shreveport, Louisiana

  • Why does the color on the first tattoo look dry ?

  • in response to the tattoos..it would be nice to learn how to tattoo..but scratching is fine with me...im more interested in the machines..i build simple and unique rotary motored guns but i'd REALLY like to learn how to make an electromagnetic one

  • @FUUNNIIEEE Man, Im just trying as hard as I can to get into this business legitimately. I have been trying for many years, but its really an exclusive club. I have been scratching for a long time and flying under the radar. i just really want to be known as a "real" tattooer. I have been a serious artist all my life and its all I really care about (except for family).

    SERPO

  • im twenty years old and have been tattoing for a long time now and had no clue there was a school for tattooing as for as i knew tattooing is a secret art that u have to earn to learn not pay but fuck thats pretty badass im gonna have to look into this if yo dont mind whats the price?

  • @NARCOLEPTICpediphile WOTS is the first state licensed trade school to offer tattoo classes with certification upon completion ... our tuition fee is $5,600 ... we have payment plans available

  • All this for only $10,000. What a fucking bargain!!!!!!!

  • all your techical problems solved with the tattoo magic box,the machine at will according to your possibilities.

I invented this box more than 15 years ago and want it to be known

take a look at theotattoos videos

does not mean that any starting tattooist do nt need good advice from skilled people

  • look im not haten on nobody i know every tattoo artist has to start some where and some of the best artist are self taught like mr.cartoon started from prison tatts so all that apprentiship shit every body cant afford but anyways fuck your own skin up b4 fucking up sum1 elses what they just pull people off the street and said free tattoos lol......but really if your not a artist and dont draw for the fun of it dont bother......

  • @MrChevyboi305 Get your facts right Toon$ was not self taught ,he was apprenticed thru Baby Ray over at Spotlight....and yeah the general population will call his fine line chicano tatty's "prison tatts"but they are not ,theyre shop tattoos!!! Big difference from penitentiary placas done by real G's and chicano fine line work done by dope artists such as Toon$...and I can say this cuz I have a few tattys from Toon$ and I know him personally.

  • nice booty at 5:23

  • @ donsink You Dont Have To Be A Pretentious Douchewad. I Did A Tattoo On MYSELF Where The Colour Faded. I May Have Only been At It A Short Time, But Im Good At What I Do. Dont Put Me Down And Judge Me, And Dont Make Assumptions Because You Dont Know Me. Why Dont You Get A Life, Think About Reevaluating Yourself Before You Criticize Others. I Will Tattoo All I Please, This Is What I Love.

  • So um.... what is up with your shift key buddy?

  • @UndisclosedDesires17 right on, feller

  • So, I Have A Similar Problem. I Work Absolutely Fantastic With Black And White, But I Have Issues With Colour. It Always Ends Up Looking Beautiful, But When Its Healing Most Of The Colour Fades Or Disappears Completely. Ive Tries Resetting The Needle Depths, Speed Of The Motor, How Fast Im Moving My Hand, Everything. Can Someone PLEASE Help Me Out???

  • @UndisclosedDesires17

ya put down the fuckin machine.your dreams of being a tattooer are not worth other ppls dreams of getting a nice tattoo shattered. quit fucking ppl up...please.ppl that dont get tought right by a worthy artist are not going to cut it.if you dont draw just cuz u like to dont even think of tattooing

  • @UndisclosedDesires17 so black and white arnt colors?

  • black is the absence of color, while white is all colors. also, 'arnt' is a contraction of the words 'are' and 'not,' so the correct spelling would be 'aren't.' have a nice day.

  • what size needle do you think he is using for the lining he is doing at 1:40min. im having alot of trouble determining proper lining size

  • Comment removed

  • @richbomb sorry bout that. After looking closer he's probably useing a 5 or 7 round needle. Judgeing from the lines he's already inked.

But again it's hard to say for sure. Because of personal preference, and the effect he's going for, can also factor in to what type of needle configuration he's useing he's useing. The guy seems pro, and the tube he's useing can hold a flat needle config he could be useing a 5 flat, but highly unlikely, but again I'm no expert.

Best guess is 5 or 7 round.

  • He's probably using a 3RL or a 5RL. Remember... the smaller the number, the thinner the line. Just keep practicing with all the liners and you'll get it! Rock on!

  • best inks are skin candy

  • @cavaliere8 totally agree with you they're just.. colorful!!

  • i'll agree to that. hella sick ass colors and quality

  • @cavaliere8 there is no best pigments all pigments and brands are different... and there isnt an artist that uses just one brand.

  • where is this tattooschool? and how much does it cost?

  • It's in Shreveport, LA and it cost about 5,600 for a two week class. You learn every thing you need to know from sterilization to technique.

  • ehh seems a bit much for two weeks.. then you gotta pay for room and board.. i can spend that money on something i need.. a tattoo artist in my town told me to just pick it up and go.. the best way to learn is to just do it.. ill save my money

  • ive just started to lear tattooing my good friend been doin it 25 years and he also told me best way to learn is pick it up and practice

  • damn i whish we hade this in sweden :( sad

  • wow this is cool :) alot of artists. ive been tattooing since i was 16 crazy eh lol started off on small small tattoos im only 19 now an i really really want 2 become a professional but hopefully some day i will but luv the vid

  • What kind of ink do you use???i have noticed that all your tattoos come out really bright

  • we order ink from several different companies. We give our students a set of ink and a list of supply companies to order more when it runs out

  • the whole schoool idea is great...especially since they try and speed it u and teach you faster...the price however is ridiculous....and the supplies you get are decent but for what you pay I would expect a more decent setup like a eikon supply and maybe some eikon green mosters or maybe some pulse machines but no you get its $50 machines....for the price i say do a real apprenticeship and buy good equipment...but not ragging on the scholl in anybit...i havent been there

  • @fattasticvoyage We don't give beginners top of the line machines like eikons or time machines (my favorite) b/c we want them to learn how to take apart the machine and put it back together, to learn the machine inside and out. You can't do that to a time machine, you will ruin it. So we use a good quality machine that we can really mess around with. Keep in mind we are selling tattoo TRAINING. Not equipment. The KNOWLEDGE that you leave the school with is much more valuable than the equipment

  • anyone know where i can get the tip this person is using that thing is as thin as a pen

  • we provide our students with a full set of professional tattoo equipment (machine, power unit, tubes, needles, ink, flash, etc.) & we include a list of tattoo supply companies where they can order more.

  • ebay is good for stainless steel tips or disposable tips you can find almost everything you need stay away from Chinese stuff though its not the greatest of quality import from U.S.A especially inks

  • It's just a 1/4 in Barrel, you can order them off any tattoo suppliers website or Ebay

  • actually they have smalle tips than that it looks like that is like maybe a 7 flat maybe even a five...maybe you would like a rouns tip better....or maybe you mean grip...in that case tons of places sell those......

  • @samstterhamstteer its 3 l

  • nice and cool - the school

i did this tribal 1993 with a selfmade machine.

now i want to extend it a little, i would like to have it more shiny and bright, maybe background and/or shadow...

    any (useful) advise welcome

  • Pleeeeze let me enroll, dude, this is the coolest school ever!!!! Seriously i'm an aspiring artist and i neeeed you to teach me EVERYTHING you know. You freakin rock!!!!!

  • I WANT 2 GO 2 UR SHOP SO BAD LOL

  • Im 16 and im sooooo ENROLLING!,wish there was one in L.A,but i guess i have to go to Louisiana, its worth it =]
