I'm sick of seeing young people cutting their lives short by their own stupidity, and if taking their cars off them when they act like dickheads, then so be it. At least it keeps them alive. Surely the lives of people these laws are protecting make it worthwhile. I had a past student of mine killed in that Mill Park crash, you reckon that was fun for me to read that in the papers?

This is so ridiculous. The are charging him with improper use of a car... really? Saying he was putting peoples lives at risk... really? He is one of the, if not the, best drivers in the world. Did they really think there was ANY chance of Hamilton losing control of that car of 0.01 sec? No, its just a stupid stunt. Hamilton did a silly stunt and now the police are doing one to prove there power, even if that goes completely against the idea of the law, which is public safety.

@Loathomar skill has nothing to do with it. when pulled over, the police saw a silver car, they didn't see (or frankly care) who was behind the wheel. What they see is some dickhead hoon driver doing inappropriate actions in front of HUNDREDS of pedestrians and dozens of other cars. He was lucky he didn't kill anyone.
