Predators like coyotes and other dogs and raptors(birds of prey) do not observe bag limits or seasons like humans,the reasoning predators do. At least humans eat what they kill or donate it to Hunters for the Hungry.The meat doesn't go to waste like you assume. Matter of fact,in two wild game cookbooks I have,there's 20 different recipes for dove.Just because you'd rather pay someone to kill your meat for you doesn't make hunting wrong.
You guys have a limit on the number of shells for a day? Here in Ohio we can only take out 75 shells for 15 birds. And you know on a good day flyin and bad day shootin. 75 shells just aint enough!
no limit on shells. We have a 15 bird limit. There have been days when a box of shells was enought, there have been other days that a truck load of shells wouldn't have gotten a limit!!! lol It won't be long now and dove season will be here!

Doves are so small. You must have to eat a lot of them to feel full.

Dove hunting is much better than deer hunting, in my opinion. It takes more quick marksmanship.
That and I hate dressing deer.
