"What's old is new again" I remember doing this on my Amiga 1000 back in 1986. Of course, youtube wasn't around back then. Hmmm...in fact, alot of things weren't around back then, :)
@jci10 when you say you did "this" on your amiga in 86, what do you mean? the video shows realtime light painting using a webcam. I think the first webcams came out in 94... I'm curious to hear what you did!
@ericrossrosenbaum Primarily Amiga Live! which did very similar techniques with a video camera and a $600 Commodore Amiga computer back in 1986:

Some video paint software for the Amiga can "lock" in on your hands, fingers, head, and other items and paint the screen with those items as you move them about.
