@mgraveman better on the engine gives it a chance to cool down and reduces chance for backfiring cause it lets you get the excess fuel out of the carburetor
@swimmer1293 They were ordered through a local tire shop and made by Carlisle. They did work pretty well, but could still get stuck pretty easily. In soft mud it would just dig a hole faster and get bottomed out on the deck. They helped me about half the time and the other half the time I got stuck I had to pull it out anyway.
mgraveman where is the carburetor located on the Yanmar diesel in the john deere 455. I used to have one.

Great looking tractor. Do you have a 4 way plow or power flow bagger for it? I'm in the market for both for my rig.

LOL, LAst thing I would do is buy it from some putz that not only turns the engine off fullthrotlle, but leaves the blades on also........
DUH !!!!
NWCYCLE 2 years ago 4
@NWCYCLE He didn't leave the blade on and why does it matter what the throttle setting is when you shut it off?
flanksteak2 11 months ago
@NWCYCLE The blade was off.

@NWCYCLE Why does it matter if he shut the engine off at full throttle and no, the blade was off.
