This is actually 2.5D. The graphics are in 3D, and certain portions of the levels are presented at different distances from the screen, but the perspective is 2D side-scrolling. Now that's nostalgia that also appeals to the new generation of players. This game rocks! The only real problem I have with it is that some of the levels are unforgivably difficult. I like my games to be challenging, but it can get quite frustrating at times. Still doesn't diminish the game's overall awesomeness

And at bosses, for hard worlds, it feels like such a stress relief to see how many hits you get on the guy :P

@LilDtherapper The reason they're being made, is the same reason why any other game genre gets reused. People buy them! New Super Mario Bros. Wii was the system's best seller. Nintendo noticed this, and took advantage of it. New Super Mario Bros. Wii and DKC Returns are the only 2 significant side scrollers on a home console sold in retail. Over used is an exaggeration, as I'm pretty sure there are way more FPS's and others in this era. Shouldn't matter anyhow, if you really like the game.

Hay man, can I use that first clip of you with the controller in a video I'm making. It's do demonstrate that sometimes in a platformer, when your really into a game and you need to make a big jump, you'll sometimes lift the controller in order to make the jump. Even though you know it dosen't effect it.

Instead of reviewing Black Ops, why not just review the first Modern Warfare and say that's your review for MW1, MW2, WaW, and BO since they are all the same game repackaged multiple times. Ooh one game requires you to unlock things twice, another takes place in WW2 (AGAIN), one is inferior to the version that came out 2 years ago (MW2). You'd be reviewing the best one anyways, the revolution and not the one whose biggest change is the game's title. Sorry I had to rant.
