@teemliberty If your a beginner than does it really matter dude? I have the same guitar.........I got A B.C. Rich Warlock and a Dean Vendetta XMT and the squier has been holding better than both my dean and B.C. Rich
@queenalexianna i was just saying that :P, i got a fender stratocaster now and i love that thing... squires not a bad brand, theres squires out there that make my strat look like a $400 pice of shit lol
Half Step Drop D, well thats my way of explaining it. So like if you were in halfstep, tune it just like you would drop D in standard. Well if you know what I mean. Im not too fancy with my Terms
I'm trying to learn this song I was told to do drop c...? whats the difference? IK I have to use 3 strings and your using one string for the main riff...?
you look like your pretty new. its pretty good. over time youll get better with teqnique and soud setting (im just now starting to get my sound down after 3 years lol). it just takes practice. great job on this song though really.
Dude, on your righthand, try picking more with your wrist. You are picking individual notes by moving your fingers or your hand up and down rather than allowing the wrist to do the work, which will give you more firm picking and improved strength to push through the string. So anchor that hand on the bridge saddles and then use your wrist. I think you will find that more comfortable. Plus it is easier to mute and do percussive accents that way.
