This is how everything is. A guy sold our fire dept. these 12 inch diameter patches, one said "Proud to be an American", and as soon as I read that I knew they had to be made in gookland. I read the back, and what did it say? I was going to buy one, but I ain't supporting them squinty eyed bastards any more than I already have.
Product that are made in China are a piece of crap seriously. Even though if there was an ISO proven on any of the following products, anything that are made in China can't be trusted. Take an example for their milk powder poisoning just because of their greediness.
Compare the attitude of Singaporean Chinese to the Chinese in PRC, it is alot different. We as a Singaporean Chinese are known as a Higher Class of Chinese though.
!? so Singaporean Chinese consider themself as higher class of Chinese?? dude seriously singaporeans can't even speak Chinese properly, what makes them "higher" class "Chinese"
Our higher class refers to our wealth, attitude and our westerner influence. Doesn't mean that we as a Singaporean Chinese will need to speak good Mandarin. It was all because of our speaking accents that made our reputation turns bad.
Believe it or not, the same goes with Otis Elevator Company, where they have American headquarters, but the stuff is now made in China! No wonder the fine quality of Otis has really turned into a mess.
I hate how almost nothing is made here anymore. Even for customer support lines, all the people you talk to now are from India or China, or somewhere else.
I agree with jtelev. The Situation up here in Canada is no different than the US, Made in China everywhere you go. Except for Stanfields Woolen Thermal Sweaters
I had a similar experience... when I was in elementary school, we were celebrating Canada's 125th anniversary, and all the students received paper flags.... Made in Hong Kong!
