@durianriders Good point. Because this is a problem any time any company is pushing the envelope on building a light frame. And why I wouldn't buy a non-warranty prototype bike, no matter how cheaper it is than a Trek Madone it nearly resembles, for example.
I think its good that they brake, it shows they are trying new things and trying to push the boundarys, of course if they wanted to they could make a bike they knew wouldnt brake, but to push forwards, u need to be inovative and a result maybe failure to begine with, but in the end they will have the better technology....
specialized are known for bomb-proof frames for mountain bikes, the stumpjumper made them legends in that field.. road bikes are a different story completely haha
Nah i love Specialized bikes. But i ride a DH bike though i dont know much about their road bikes.

specialized offer lifetime warranty on their frames. end of story.
for me, the warranty speaks louder than anything when it comes to faith in craftmanship.
