Question... What about when A cymbal hit is on time but say a kick is off and they are on the same beat. having them grouped could move all of them as you say but wouldnt that knock the in time things, to being out of time?

Beat detective is much better, every time I use elastic audio on drums. My overheads get a bit strange with the phase
